I was born in '73 and have always had a huge passion for music. I suppose most of the female celebrities that I wanted to look like were singers. My top 4 were (and still are),

Sade (the most beautiful woman in the world imo and I still adore her music)

Debbie Harry

Susanna Hoffs (still stunning at 66)

Belinda Carlisle

Considered the most beautiful - Cindy Crawford. Even now, if I want to talk about beauty, I'll reference her, but I don't know if younger people understand.

Who I myself wanted to look like was Helena Bonham Carter in her youth.

Born in early 80's and have always thought Helena Christensen is the most beautiful woman on Earth.

Ohh Sherilyn Fenn was stunning. When she appeared in that episode of Friends I couldn't cope as Courteney Cox was also my lady crush. I'm still mesmerised by Courteney Cox when I watch Friends, her face was just perfection (shame she ruined it 😞) Pale flawless skin, huge blue eyes and high cheekbones.

I was a fan of the 90s supermodels too, Linda Evangelista for her feline features and Cindy Crawford for her body - I used to hire her fitness videos from the library and attempt her workouts with my dumbbells (didn't work 😂)

I was also slightly obsessed with Jan Francis from Just Good Friends - the huge doe eyes and boyish haircut 🥰

debbie harry was my idol thought she was gorgeous and I modelled myself on her at the time!

In the 70’s and 80’s we were bombarded with scantily clad girls behind the KP Nuts packets in pubs, page 3 girls , sport illustrated girls , topless calendar's hanging in boys bedrooms. All beautiful, often bronzed and fairly toned.

It was a lot to compare yourselves with, I guess it was our social media of our time.

I love how women cheer on women these days, it’s our private appreciation fiercely protective club!
