Agree. Post feminism should mean that women can do whatever they want to their bodies without judgment or opinion of others. Including plastic surgery if people decide it’s for them.

I find it trashy if people adopt superior attitude towards female peers either because they’re more beautiful as a result of such enhancements or, by contrast, crowing because they haven’t had work done due to having taken some arbitrary moral high ground.

I would say that someone who has chosen to have a limb amputated, has mental health issues. That doesn't make them trashy.

More 'beautiful' because of enhancements? What planet are you on? It makes people uglier - men and women. Fish/anus lips are not at all aesthetically pleasing. Perhaps they are for the perpetually horny, pornified and superficial individual.

I think you misread my post - I was saying that I find it trashy that women who have had enhancements consider themselves to be more beautiful than their peers. And yes, the post feminist era is a thing, referring to post second wave feminism.

Why do you need to widen your own perspective on people’s appearance and character? Who cares what people think is trashy and isn’t. You know people are just going to come on and slate people for having fillers etc or not looking a certain type of way because you’ve asked the question in a negative way. Can we just accept people look different and people like different looks?

Who cares? People will continue looking how they want to look irrespective of your opinion. I don't care what a bunch of strangers think about my appearance.

(As an aside I’ll presume the word ‘not’ was unintentional?). I could be judging you for this but won’t because I understand people are complex and nothing about being a human being is straightforward. You might be dyslexic. You could be in a rush or distracted. Your phone might have autocorrected. Or maybe you’re having a bad day or you’re feeling down and want to make yourself feel better by focussing on people you see as inferior to you. Presumably someone’s called you a snob and your reply was something along the lines of ‘I’m not a snob. I just have standards’?

BUT. What this world needs more than just about everything else is tolerance. Judge and be judged yourself, and who needs that? Can we all just live free of this shit? I’ll do what I want and you do what you want, ok?
