Is there any celeb you feel sorry for?

Watching one of mg favourite films again, (Easy A) and it’s got Amanda Bynes in it.

I still feel so sorry for her. She was so talented and I loved her movies and it’s sad to see how she is now. I genuinely hope she gets all the help she needs

As others have said, child stardom can be awful.

I don't know any more than anyone else about Duffy, but I really do not think she's making it up. She seems terrified and as a rule I'll believe women until I have a reason not to.

Even though he's no longer with us I still feel so sorry for Matthew Perry. So much talent but so troubled and he put so much pressure on himself too. His book was a honest but difficult read at times. I hope he's at peace now.

Sorry to speak ill of the dead but I thought he came across as an awful human being in his book. Horrible misogynistic who only speaks about women in terms of whether he want to fuck them, really creepy about how much he fancied Jennifer aniston and only spoke about his female co-stars good looks. Had to hire a lesbian as his PA as he said he can only have professional relationships with women he can’t fuck. Really self centred and arrogant, saying he changed the face of comedy forever. Really bitter about the reviewers who said his play was awful.

Emma Raducanu - not for her whole life as she seems to have a supportive family and friends but the level of online abuse she gets and the daily articles in the tabs is horrendous. I can't believe it's not just rank misogyny as she literally hasn't done anything apart from: being very successful at her chosen sport at a young age; being financially well-rewarded (but no more than an equivalent male player); having a few injuries which meant she couldn't play for a while; being pretty. Er, that's it. That issue plus the stalkers. Awful.

I feel sorry for many people who are famous. I don’t think excess money, extravagant lifestyles equals happiness. I certainly don’t think the press coverage and spotlight constantly being shone on your appearance/choices/life/your children is worth the fame.

I like the way she is now living away quietly with her child. I think she is a good Mum.
Similarly Meghan gets horrible press, but I don’t understand why they don’t try the quiet life too.

I can't think of any at the moment but in general any woman in the public eye. They're ripped apart and social media makes it 1000 times worse.

What I find particularly annoying is the way women are criticised for showing signs of age, then criticised for surgery. And God forbid if you're not stick thin.

My friend is a criminologist and forensic psychologist and he says that anyone who wants to be famous is psychotic and I tend to agree with the him.

Katie Price. She's been through so much but she's self destructing. People are saying she's had her teeth done again, she hasn't she's just lost so much weight her face is gaunt and her teeth are now too big for her face. She needs an intervention before it's too late

Katie price fucked her teeth years ago with cosmetic surgery (before the risks were as well known) so I always feel terrible when she "get her teeth done again" as I know realistically she's never going to really stand a chance looks/pain wise
