Watching one of mg favourite films again, (Easy A) and it’s got Amanda Bynes in it.

I still feel so sorry for her. She was so talented and I loved her movies and it’s sad to see how she is now. I genuinely hope she gets all the help she needs

Christine MgGuinness. Seems sweet and vulnerable. And is a good mum. But is somehow portrayed as lacking something, by her idiot ex.

Celine Dion. Lost her husband and brother on the same day and now has stuff person syndrome. I watched her documentary and she seems to live a very lonely life.

Jennifer Aniston. She’s portrayed as a sad old cat lady (well, dogs in her case) but she’s been married twice, no shortage of fellas in her heyday. She has a gorgeous lifestyle. It’s sad that she fell out with her mum, but she got on with her life.

Terry Hall. Beautiful man.

The public are merciless. I feel a little sorry for most of them.

A friend is a minor celebrity / successful businesswoman. I once invited her to accompany me to a gig at an intimate venue, a band we both like. It was supposed to be some downtime for the two of us, but loads of people wanted to talk to her. The attention was relentless all evening. If the press had been there it would have been even worse.

She did her best to engage with them but was absolutely exhausted afterwards. Never again!

She says she loves being in her overseas home because no one really knows / cares who she is.

I previously had no feelings about him either way but seeing the pictures in the press lately and hearing P Diddy investigation details, it’s looking increasingly likely that he was a victim and is seriously traumatised. Oh god that boybands series was a difficult watch at times, I loved all those bands in the 90s and took it all at face value that they were having the time of their lives. But Scott from Five seemed particularly broken and as evidenced by the tragic spiral of Liam Payne, nothing has changed.

Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh sit there smugly reaping the rewards of other people's hard work and don't seem to feel an ounce of remorse.
