Why do men think it's ok to shout when there's rugby or football on tv?

Really annoys me, there's rugby or something on tv and my neighbour has made me jump out of my skin several times already with his stupid shouting. It's so annoying that men think it's ok to shout in their stupid bellowing voices.

You couldn’t cope living in Liverpool, where man, woman and child would all be shouting and screaming! It’s not on for long.

I always shout at the tv when football or rugby’s on! How can you not???

my neighbour popped her head over the wall when my kids were playing outside during a match a few weeks ago and asked “Is your mum alright?”
My son just said “Yeah, her team just scored” 🫠🫠🫠😂

Just so you know, I'm female, and have just shouted out loud, as Lewis-Skelly scored for England.
If I lived in a house only divided from my neighbour with a thin wall, I suspect they would have heard.

It's a World Cup Qualifying match, and the team I am supporting have gone ahead.
