Went to lidl today and they've got 30% off fruit! Got some mangos and plums to add to the pineapple and satsumas I already had - on a health kick and trying to ditch the sweets - so far it's been 4 days

Also, got a new spiraliser from pro cook - so easy to use and I've been making 'spaghetti' bolognese with spiralised courgettes - delish

These two boring things have made my week so exciting 😭😭😭

Oooh something really boring but exciting happened to me today and I'm so glad I can tell the world....as I drove to work, there was a sign advertising a new branch of Screwfix on the local industrial estate.😆

I popped into Morrisons and they had the BedHead volume spray for £5!
That went straight in my basket! 🤣

Getting over norovirus, it's been nearly 3 days now. I won't go into the gory details, but, err, you know.

Luckily I had a friend call around earlier unexpectedly. He was a bit horrified and got me some electrolyte spring water from the shop. Perhaps I should sleep in the bath until it clears as I can't crawl there in time.

We got a new set of saucepans about 3 weeks ago and I’m still happy when I open the cupboard and see them. We did have battered rubbishy saucepans for years so it does make quite a difference.

I'm changing my gym routine to a 3 week cycle of straight sets, supersets and giant sets.
No one else is interested at all
I'm away on hols next week and will enjoy some detailed planning of it.

The bathroom fitter has put the bathroom door back on so I can have a bath in privacy ( nothing else in bathroom yet!)

Brace yourselves. I got paid today and went WILD on Amazon. I bought:
Huge bag of cat litter
12 new teaspoons and forks because they seem to evaporate in this house
Tin of green exterior paint to transform an old shelving unit our neighbours were throwing out, it's going in the garden with pots of herbs once finished.
I hope I can stand the excitement.

I’m not even being sarcastic, I’ve just been rolling out 3 sets of 12 for a while and need to shake it up a bit!

I've been ill this week (my fourth bug in the last 5-6 weeks, it's getting ridiculous) and yesterday I got excited to have a new box of tissues and a Sudafed nasal spray. 🤣

I bought one last year, wasn't that impressed.

I just bought a ten pack of A5 padded envelopes. I'm looking forward to being able to post some books out!

They're all nice and plumpfy and they even smell nice. Oh dear, I am SO boring...

This one literally sets itself up. It's so easy and fun to use. The labels that arrived with it aren't the best but with a bit of sellotape they're fine (I use them for labelling decanted fragrances so it's fine on the little bottles but wanted something hardier for labelling some drawers etc so let me know if you want the link to those)

You don't have to buy this from tiktok but it was the cheapest and included 6 rolls of labels. ❤️

Got new pillows this week and eagerly ripped the packaging open so I could check how bouncy they are.

Had my bank account amount all be the same number (eg £1111.11) and excitedly showed DW, who wasn't as thrilled as I was 😂

My new dog breed A-Z tea towel! It's a work of art. I'm trying to a find a picture of it online to show you but can't. Cat snoring on my knee so will have to wait until later, and then I'll take a photo and post it.
