I thank my favourite singer when one of my favourite songs of his comes up on Spotify. I also apologise to him if I have to turn him off half way off through a song because I've arrived at work or somewhere 🤣

I was just about to type exactly the same.
If I ever have an important occasion coming up and I've got, say, 6 weeks, or 10 days ( to do some self care), I'm happily motivated and raring to ho.
7 weeks or 11 days - no chance.

Agree with @DonutCroissant though - we're all more alike than previously thought.

Does anyone else stroke their neck? The skin on the front of the throat where it's lovely and soft? I've always stroked it when I'm tired or worried but don't know anyone else who does. I did it as a child too. I sometimes wear a necklace and pretend to play with it but I'm really just stroking my neck. I know it sounds weird.

No but I stroke my arm, between my wrist and elbow, underside which is soft.
I find it comforting

I can't edit on the app so adding another comment sorry but as an extra bit to the neck touching/ soothing thing. I remember when someone first told me about masturbation and described it as "touching yourself somewhere that feels really nice". I totally thought they meant like the soothing thing I do and happily told them I liked masturbation anytime any place!

i sometimes when thinking/having conversations in my head ,count the letters in my head on my fingers, well by thinking of my fingers not moving them. I used to do it constantly when I was a child, my childhood was quite emotionally unstable , maybe related to that. Some soothing thing.

I do the same. I also run my tongue on the roof of my mouth as it tickles. It’s all self soothing isn’t it.

I dont have a TV or a radio at all.
I dont have any paid subscriptions.
I never have and never will rent any appliances.
Never have and never will have a credit card or loan.
Never been one bit interested in designer stuff.
And ive been told im odd for having my bills paid up to date two months in advance and everyone has some sort of debt well i dont im debt free.

So many of you need even numbers but I odd numbers so the odd one gets allocated to me.
Is there really no one else that requires odds?

I also hold my own hand when i sleep.

My husband will not walk on the carpet with bare feet. He just can't, he says it makes him want to throw up.

When I lie on the sofa on my side, I always raise my arm straight up like im pointing at the ceiling, I can't even explain it, I know I'm weird, I just find it relaxing.

I do exactly this. I need to make it even so will do it with the punctuation included if it's odd. I can't believe how many people do the same thing, I thought I was the sole weirdo. I remember the day I first started doing it (I had just started secondary school) and I think it's stress related.

I know people who prefer their TV volume on odd numbers and others who prefer even.

For me it has to be a prime number. Thankfully our volume works best on different channels and apps between 7 and 17 usually.
