Help me with my living room again 😩

Sorry it's me again. So after thinking about doing something with my sofa that's gone out of the window.

But I do want to completely change the living living room. So basically change the walls and the floors, curtains.

My no 's are no dark walls. It has to be light although I will consider a medium sort of colour. Do I just paint or do wallpaper as well? Or maybe some sort of panelling

Floor wise I want to rip the floor up and put something better down. I'm open to the colour and type. I'm also now happy to put a rug down but short pile type.

I'm very against cushions and floor lamp/low light type. As I don't like a room that's dimmed . I like it bright light wise.

I have taken a few pics of the living room so there's a better idea.

I'm hoping to make a start this week.

@Youagain2025 you can definitely make wall art, you are very creative your boys rooms and your own in fact are amazing. I think you lack in self confidence and worth rather than talent!

I don’t mean that as a criticism by the way as I know you’ve been through a lot. You are so capable of doing wonderful things with your home stop doubting yourself and you will be amazed with what you achieve.

Thank you. I don't mean it as a criticism either just being real I will give it a go to proof I can't do it 😅 probably won't be for a week or so as I want to finish the main bits first.

You could even get a large blank canvas and do what you did in your kids room, with the tape and lots of paint colours.
Then that will be a piece of art that's definitely original, and personal to you.

What about asking the local art college or 6th form if anyone is doing a project and show them that photo?

If you bought the materials I bet they would do it?

No im really not going to do that . I really would not be comfortable. I know some people would be happy to do that but definitely not me.

I love that wall art and think it would great that's all. Thinking on different ways you could get it cheaper.

Try just wall art for the main section then filter for lowest priced.
