I like sage and onion stuffing from the farmshop

i had a flat mate years ago who used to melt chocolate and then dip crisps into it. I used to tease her until I tried it, the salt the sweet, perfect combo, it’s now a guilty pleasure!

Goats cheese on a cream cracker with sweet chilli sauce on top.

When I was a kid my friend’s mum - she was lovely, a proper Irish mammy - used to give us something similar when we were playing out.

She’d ask if we’d like some ‘cheesecake’ and I remember being very confused the first time she handed me a digestive biscuit spread with a thick layer of cottage cheese topped off with strawberry jam (it was really nice though!).

My DM’s friend does this! I’ve never heard of anyone else doing it.

She won’t buy salt and vinegar crisps, but she’ll happily add vinegar to her ready salted crisps. I always found it amusing

I went through a phase of eating uncooked pasta…

crumpet, butter, marmite, philly and sliced (posh) cherry tomatoes

I don’t think it’s weird but it’s a hot/cold, creamy/sharp, salty/sweet stellar combination that I feel not enough people know about

I like digestives or rich tea biscuits spread thickly with clotted cream. When I was a child in Devon the local cafe would serve these with a cup of coffee.

Ready salted crisps dunked in slightly warmed Nutella. Amazing

Pickled Onions have to be Gold Star, limit myself to 3 large ones in one siting.
In my youth I would eat a full jar of silver skin onions then drink the vinegar !

YES to this! It makes the chocolate go hard and waxy, and the biscuit milky but still firm...gorgeous.

Try Maryland chocolate chip cookies with ice cold milk too. God-tier. I adore ice cold milk.

Hot buttered toast with horseradish sauce on. Yum.

Also recently had tinned peach, Serrano ham and burrata and it was so so good.

An entire jar of cocktail cherries all at once.
