Good UK TV series to binge watch?

Been signed off work for 6 weeks post surgery and need some recommendations. I really like gripping dramas and also black comedy.

Things I’ve really enjoyed:

old series like Brideshead Revisited and The Jewel in the Crown on ITVX - absolute classics
Not British, but Mad Men - utterly brilliant and perfect for binge watching

Hinterland

Just aired on BBC so on iPlayer now. Video Nasties, charming horror/comedy set in Ireland and Yorkshire in the 1980s. It's brilliant.

I'll second 'Unforgotten'. I watched the whole lot last year and it was brilliant.

I've just binged Nightsleeper on iplayer, a few good plot twists and action from the off..definitely not a slow burner!

Slow Horses on Apple is the best thing I've seen in a long time.

The fall is the Jamie Dornan one. The other could be Grace?

Another vote for Slow Horses. What We Do in The Shadows is great too; it’s not actually British but three of the main cast are so it feels British in a weird way. It’s just finished but there are 6 seasons plus the original film it’s based on.

It's American but based on what you've watched, you'd probably enjoy Ozark. Narcos is also amazing (especially narcos mexico) but mostly subtitles.

(Black Doves was miles better than I was expecting. Day of the Jackal was disappointing)
