I love liquorice and my DH and DD hate it, it’s great if I get given some as I get to eat it all myself. In fact I’ve just treated myself to some and one of the types I’ve ordered are cola liquorice bottles (much to DD’s disgust as she loves cola bottles,) that sound delicious.

Peanut butter is another one I love and they hate.

DH and DD like black pudding but I can’t stand the stuff.

Cheesy pasta sauces/carbonara - so I only cook them when I've got a night in on my own - probably best for my waist line.

It used to be cheese - but DH has discovered what he's been missing.

He likes nutella - I just can't see the point.

So much. Most veg apart from onion, peas, corn and carrots. Dried fruit. Most salad apart from peppers and cucumber. Yogurt. Various fish. Marmite. Biscoff (I find that strange). Corned beef. Any cheese other than cheddar (Feta, halloumi, blue cheese and many more).

Husband is colourblind and apparently looking into it, not liking fruit/veg/salad is quite common as it all looks very unappetising. Kids are just picky. Eldest is getting a little better.

I would say half the stuff in the fridge is just mine.

I know. I found it really interesting. His brother is also colourblind and won't eat any. I originally thought it may be parenting but when the kids were born I was researching it to see how genetic it is and came across that. Apparently it is like different shades of what we see as brown. I can imagine that isn't the most appealing!

Yoghurt. I love it, which is a bit odd as I eat very little dairy produce otherwise. But both my boys are allergic and DH absolutely hates it. In fact if I am feeling a bit evil I will sit next to him and lick the lid of my yoghurt and he gets quite agitated. (He can reciprocate by eating Stilton though - I find that equally revolting and he loves it!)
But at least nobody ever steals my yoghurts unlike virtually ever other food or drink I buy as a treat for myself!

Christmas cake and Christmas pudding! The only other people that like it in the family are my elderly parents. Traditional fruit wedding cake is the same kind of stuff. No younger people seem to want it, so I expect it'll die out, sadly.

It is a little bit of an acquired taste. (children won't immediately like it) but I really enjoy it. Will be a shame when it disappears.

In a similar way, have you noticed that a lot of younger adults have not acquired the taste for tea or coffee? It's all energy drinks, coke etc. A nice cup of tea warms you up and it's a lot cheaper!
