If you could only holiday in one country for the rest of your life, where would you choose?

I would choose Japan because I have Japanese ancestry and I like connecting with my roots. And from Hokkaido to Okinawa and in between, it’s so varied. If I wasn’t Japanese I’m not sure where I would choose 🤔 Interested in other people’s choices!

The UK. I have already spent most of my holidays here. I think it is an exceptionally beautiful and varied country and we are lucky to live here.

If it had to be abroad, Italy would be my choice. I love the food, the people, the culture and the history. Its beaches are a bit shit though.

Greece and its Islands. Love the people, the food. Plenty of different places to visit too, if it includes all the Islands

Italy. I love visiting new countries, but Italy is the one I keep on coming back to. It has everything.

thailand had some fun over there more than once.

UK, our scenery is stunning and all my favourite family holidays have been here.

What's wrong with the beaches in Italy? I've never been to a bad one. Do I have low standards or have I just got lucky?

Italy or France. I love skiing, I love beaches, I love food, I love countryside

France for me too

It's huge and varied, but I would steer clear of the big tourist hotspots- there's so much to explore

Italy. Magical place.

Spain so varied, ski resorts, beaches, rural beauty, amazing historical sites

I think the scale of the US and the difference in its landscapes, makes it appealing. Its politics however mean I’d take my money elsewhere

Money no object? India, amazing country and so much variety, you couldn't visit everywhere even if you spent weeks every year visiting

Japan - A huge variety in one country

Spain been to all the islands, Catalonia, Galicia, Costas. Not Southern Spain oddly so still lots to see. I love it! But Greece comes a very close second.
