Does anyone cover their car (icy nights)

People talk of scraping and deicing the car on a cold morning but does anyone cover their car windscreen with a sheet or blanket.

We do
I suppose it depends on your parking situation?
Do people still cover their windscreens?👀

I was getting ice on the inside too but bought some microwaveable dehumidifiers to put on the dashboard and haven't had any since. Have a foil cover that covers the mirrors too as well.

I've got some big silica bags in mine too. I don't find mine too useful with ice (that'll be my leaky old car!), but they definitely keep the screen from getting steamy.

What do you do with the blanket/cover in the morning? Like where does it go to dry?

I drape it over the lawnmower in the garage.

Oh yeah. I have some of those, thanks.

My car heats windscreen etc from an app but it's been so cold that the doors have frozen solid . so am thinking about getting a full cover but as I struggle to put cover on a duvet I'm not holding out much hope that I'd be able to put it on without attracting ridicule!

I have a windscreen cover I use when it's icy. The car has a heated windscreen, but it takes ages to defrost.
Dd1 has a windscreen cover with little wingmirror mitts. It's a bit like the gloves on elastic you get for toddlers. Makes me smile when I see it all dressed up.

We just drop ours on a chair in the dining room - because it's thin, nylon-y plastic, it dries really quickly.

We put ours on the line.
