Where are you going on holiday this year?

Looking for inspiration! We don't normally go on holiday but I really fancy it this year.
Considering possibly Toronto but happy to hear about anywhere
How long do you go for and why have you decided to go there?

Same place I go every year, nowhere. Very jealous of everyone on this thread though.

DH and I interrailing for the first time in April,with 5 days in Puglia then back via Milan and Aix en Provence. Never tried this before but neither of us enjoy flying so thought this could be fun.

I'm also going to Normandy in June for 5 days on my own and can't wait.

Grand Cayman in April
Center Parcs in October

Welsh log cabin in February, Gran Canaria in June, Mallorca in August

Next year we’re planning to spend Christmas in Florida so won’t do much before that other than Center Parcs or similar mid-year

Nowhere. We're having a new bathroom.

We did Oslo and Bergen (via Flam) in September. I much preferred Bergen, might be worth checking that out.

A couple of European weekend city breaks with friends, a weekend in Center Parcs. California road trip in the summer.

Somewhere hot that's no too far away, Greece maybe.

A few UK camping trips booked.

We're going on our first non-uk family holiday in August. We're going to Tenerife for a week, so not as exotic as most here. I've splashed out on a nice family suite and all inclusive plus. The hotel complex is huge and has a water slide and loads of stuff for the kids I know they'll love it and I'm looking forward to my first week off cooking and housework in a very long time.

We're going to Croatia in October half term to celebrate MIL's birthday.

We are going to Cornwall in May Half Term and to France in August, visiting the Alps, Lyon and Provence where my Mum lives. We have just come back from Munich which was fantastic for a city break, I absolutely loved it and the German people were wonderful. Last couple of years we have been to islands off Croatia which are AMAZING, just not doing that this year to spend our summer break with family instead, hope to be back there next year as I have honestly never holidayed anywhere better.

3 weeks across France Spain and Portugal by bike, motorbike that is, I'm not fit

I remember this was me one year when we had a patio done rather than a holiday. A friend came over and we had a cup of tea outside on the new patio. She said I’m honoured to be sitting on your holiday!

Funny, partner and I were just talking earlier as usually we have something booked by now so, tomorrow we're going to sit and have a think.

He has 2 week shutdown in August which will likely be a trip in our motorhome. Thinking a week somewhere in March and maybe a long haul in October.

I need two new bathrooms. I reckon I might be approaching the last year or two when my kids will want a big holiday with mum so I’m embracing it, but my sensible self would do the same as you and do them both on a budget.

Orlando in October for 2 weeks. Doing all the Disney and Universal parks as we're all theme park enthusiasts. DC will be 11 and 8 when we go.

Will go to my parents caravan on the East Yorkshire coast in the summer for a few days and probably to our family cottage on the Northumberland coast in spring.

Is it best to come in late September or October for the colours? DH can't agree.

Our planned trips are Greece in June, Toronto and surrounds in the fall (timing depends on whether UpToMyElbowsInDiapers replies 😁)

Bahrain this weekend for the darts! (Live in Saudi) Istanbul at Easter to meet up with DS and my parents. I'm planing a solo trip to Thailand in July and will go away with DH April/May but not 100% sure where.

Crete in may for a week AI with three of the kids we plan on getting out and exploring though I've not been to Crete before.

Summer we are going to the flCotswolds for 3 nights in July.

We will go to Spain for August.

Just back from 2.5 weeks in Auckland visiting my brother 😁 . Holiday of 5 years if not a lifetime.
