If Prince George is heading to Eton where will Charlotte go?

I know it's not been officially announced that George is going to Eton .. but if he is where will Charlotte go?

Heathfield maybe but it’s not v academic, Downe House Kate left so I guess not - so I suppose Marlb or Wellington or some place else co-ed. Or if Kate didn’t dislike DH because it was all girls maybe St Mary’s Calne which is near Marlb.

Zara went to Gordonstoun, so if Charlotte is sporty she might go.

Princess Anne went to Benenden.

But if Kate really liked Marlborough, I'd say that's the most likely.

@Topseyt123 , St Mary's would be the obvious one. There are several fee-paying schools local to Windsor, but many are co-ed. I don't think they'd send the boys to a boys' school and the girl to a co-ed

It’s Catholic. Not just technically, the vast majority of the girls are. She’s third in line to the throne and if she got it she’d be head of the C of E, they aren’t going to send her to an RC school.

Kate liked co-ed and (presumably, as she left downe house) didn’t like single sex, so if William wants G to go to Eton in his footsteps and gets the deciding vote there, I’m guessing Kate will get the choice for their daughter.

Eton is full boarding. So if George goes there as expected, he will board. Louis will probably follow him there.

They looked round Oundle.

I think Lambrook is until age 13, it was a big surprise at the time when they chose there

William & Kate both received the top education that money can buy , I'm sure they'll go the same route with the kids?

Of course the classy, “we are a modern royal family” choice would be a very good state school (either in Windsor or London). I can’t see them actually doing it, but it would be a fabulous sign that William will be a King that is more in touch with his subjects. (Even if they pick the sort of school everyone has to be able to afford an insanely expensive house to get in, or is a grammar etc)

But sadly think the other schools mentioned on here are more likely.

The press reported that they visited St Edwards in Oxford as well as Oundle and Marlborough.

Sadly state schools that take girls in Windsor are somewhat lacking. Windsor Girls requires improvement, Churchmead in Datchet isn't good and that leaves Holyport.

Windsor isn't a grammar school area. Norfolk probably is but not much use if they'll mostly be in the Great Park.
I'd think that state school wouldn't be practical because of the lack of security and privacy.

My step daughter got badly bullied at her state school for being posh - I dread to think what would happen to the young royals.

She may not board. They seem to want to be more unconventional and after the time she’s had I’m sure she’d want her children close.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they were both day pupils in a local private school.

Within their parameters I don’t see why she wouldn’t - if Eton is his choice - she’s not going to choose anywhere wacky.

What do you mean, if he goes to Eton where will Charlotte go? I don’t understand the question. Is him going to Eton preventing her doing something? She’ll go where she was always going to go surely? It’s making it sound like him going to Eton is malicious or something 😆
