I mean ..that's it 😂..
I have put laughing face ...but a few hours ago ...I was not laughing!

Due to be delivered later today.
I was adding bits and realised that it was coming to the " wrong" address .

It was meant to be going straight to DM's house but it was coming to my address instead ..

I wanted to change the address...and somehow clicked something " wrong "

So now ...
I have woken up with a jolt and realised what a mammoth task I have ahead of me today!!!!

Sainsbury's opens at 6am .

Will the shelves be stocked up at that time ?

I got a taxi (Uber) this morning and the lovely driver helped me put my shopping in the boot, and helped to carry it to my front door. Most taxi drivers are really courteous!

Glad you got your shopping!
I have a feeling the shops ate going to be strongly quiet tomorrow.
Have a lovely Christmas!

Hope so, I'm getting up early to get the bulk of Christmas dinner. I have no idea how I ended up so behind compared to usual, it's like the last month went by in a blur.

And I still need Christmas stocking stuff 🫣

If it makes you feel any better OP, I have just got my receipt for my Asda delivery tonight (which has been booked for months!). There are so many substitutions and missing items… Will be sending DH to the shops tomorrow! He will be delighted.

I went to M&S this morning with my elderly aunt to get her shopping. While we were browsing the queues to pay were to the back of the store, when we came to pay it was pretty quiet at the tills. My gripe was that the M&S party food offering seemed very limited this year. I’ll pop out after Boxing Day now and see what I can get for New Year’s Eve. Maybe I just missed the nice stuff though?

(glad you got sorted, OP)

Solidarity to everyone dealing with shit substitutions! Both mom and I had our online orders booked for today - doing three big celebration meals between us over the festive period - at two of these we want to serve tradition Christmas pudding. We agreed to buy one each.

Hers was subbed for a tiny one person one. Mine was subbed for a Yule log!

Anyway, we are in the very fortunate position that money isn't tight for my mom, so she has ordered two from Amazon at God knows what expense. I know we are lucky to be able to do this.

The lovely cheese biscuit selection pack I had spent ages choosing was also subbed for two packs of Jacobs crackers! So I did a Morrisons dash today and got a nice one. Panic over.

But yeah. It's not the end of the world when these things happen, but it does just give another thing to stress about.....

@Thegreenandpurpleone I thought that too about the party food - no mini Yorkshire puds or burgers here this year.
