Why not say "their reasons"
You got upset and accused people of trying to shut you down.
But then you try to tell others what to say.
The IRA had their reasons. ISIS have their reasons. Other terrorist groups have their reasons.
You may or may not agree with a terrorist groups reasons. And in some people's minds, they wouldn't describe these groups as terrorists.
People can justify any kind of awful action and can give themselves a reason why they did it.
Radicalisation is a massive part of that. I think that some of the posts on here could help build a picture in some people's minds of them and us, cause division and potentially help radicalise someone to hate another group.
We need to ask ourselves who can be radicalised, what does radicalisation look like and how are people radicalised - and what then leads them to commit acts of terror.
I think that there are people on many sides of debates being radicalised now, and they probably don't even know they are being radicalised.
