Apparently he's considering an appeal.....😳 on what grounds i have not the faintest idea.

She is very courageous and he is despicable. It's bad enough that he came up with the idea but I'm also appalled so many other men went along with it. And then tried to claim they were misled.

I'm just glad he got the maximum sentence because he deserved life, he's sentenced Gisele to a life where she's never going to forget what she went through. Imagine if it had been in this country, UK, he'd have probably got 2 years suspended because it seems like over here they don't give a shit about rapists😡

Has anyone seen what one or the defendant's lawyer said to protesters outside? Called them bored knitters or something and said 'up yours'.

Consent doesn't even factor in France's legal definition of rape, they are way behind most other countries (including the UK) on this.

Didn't know that, but they at least gave a decent sentence whereas the sentences for rape In the UK are a fucking joke

I saw a list of lots of names of other men with varying sentences. Does anyone know if they were all imprisoned or were some found not guilty?

Sentences were too short.

I just read that one of the men is HIV positive. I watched the channel 5 documentary. The whole thing is horrific, but Gisele is unbelievably brave.

All the names are on the BBC website article on the sentencing.

Some of them will be freed immediately because of time already served. Bastards.
