Do you think you could kill someone?

In the literal sense of the word - could you end someone’s life?

Taking the legal consequence out of it, I’m wondering, on a moral level, if you think you could/would do it? Do you have that in you?

I appreciate this is very much a “you don’t know until you’re in that situation” question, but I think that if my life was at genuine, serious risk, or if my child was in the same situation, I’d do it without hesitation.

I used to lie awake wondering how I could kill exh and get away with it.. Don't do it. Absolute head fuck even dwelling on it....

If someone hurt my children I reckon I could kill them with my bare hands yes!

I'm sure lots of people who have killed someone would have said they couldn't do it.

Someone once almost killed DD, accidentally but thoughtlessly. I could happily have killed them.It was a horrible revelation and not one I'm proud of.

If someone was threatening my children’s lives and I had to kill them - absolutely.

If it was me or them, yes.

Yes if the threat to my close family was real and it was them or the attacker, I would kill.

Scarily I’ve suffered awful psychosis this year where I was convinced there were evil people around and I needed to kill them. It really scares me that I was so sure I needed to kill people. I was put in hospital.

If someone killed my child I think I could kill them in the right moment. I hope I could find peace or forgiveness but it would be hard.

If attacked I certainly hope I could find sufficient rage to go for the soft parts, eyes, throat, balls, ears etc and do some serious damage. If they die they die.

I've been in the situation, I didn't kill them, I do believe I could have, they were a treat to myself and my baby. I would have done anything to make them stop.

I had a horrible dream once that I dropped a half brick on someone I despised's head. I was really, REALLY glad when I woke up and realised it was just a dream and I hadn't done it. I really don't want to hurt anyone and have that on my conscience.

However I do have a dc now and if someone was threatening his life, I'm not sure I could avoid going psycho on them.

Yes, I can think of dozens of people I'd enjoy killing.

But could you kill 1 person to save 5 others?
What if you had to kill someone to save a friend?
