I’ve just seen something weird in the sky.

Ddog is unsettled so took her out for a sniff in the garden.

It’s incredibly starry tonight, can see Andromeda Galaxy without binoculars.

As I was looking up at the sky an object blocked out stars and travelled very quickly across the sky, kind of below and parallel to Cassiopeia, east to west.
It had no lights, no noise, just a speedy thing that I only saw because i happened to be looking in the exact right place and it’s so clear tonight.

I have no eye conditions, so nothing medical to explain this.
It was too big and quick to be an owl or bat or any flying creature.

In terms of size, compared to a typical aeroplane size in the sky it was much bigger and rounder.

It was a ufo wasn’t it!

The term is UAP now unidentified anomalous phenomenon. Not aerial anymore because there's so many been observed coming out of water and oceans.

We didn't know bacteria were a thing until 1890. Now we are discovering something else.

I have five aunties.

One of them is the most hardened cynical woman. She is extremely serious. I'm trying to grt her personality across, as she is not the type to make stuff up.

She said that one day she was putting washing out on her line. She said that a ufo flew over her slowly in the daytime, and she saw it in such detail - that she saw a woman in one of the windows looking out at her.

I've seen loads of UFOs. Things that don't look like aeroplanes, and I can't identify what they are.

The largest one I saw was in France. I was out walking at night. And I saw in the sky an absolutely huge object.

It was like the height of a tall tower building, but it was horizontal and it had lights all over it.

There was a thing last week about unidentified drones over airbases maybe its the same thing ! - no idea what though! Its all very odd!

It might be interesting hear to write about our past UFO experiences. If anyone would like to share:).

I think a lot of this stuff is less likely to be aliens and more likely that we are being tracked by China and Russia. I think they possibly have technology that we are not aware of as you are correct about the drone situation.

I also personally think that a lot of the UFOs we see are advanced crafts that have been developed by our own governments.

I think that our Governments have more advanced technology, then they let us know about

Well I read that previously whenever an American government has said anything about UFOs I think back in the 50s it was a cover-up for everything else they were doing i.e. military wise.

If it is already windy with you could it be a neighbour’s trampoline!

I was just coming to say that! I took a moment to check that North Yorkshire does have a yellow wind warning (yes) with a chance of "flying debris".

Afaik, though, the BBC doesn't issue alien spacecraft or secret test flight warnings. Pity.

RAF Leeming is training the Swiss Air Force in night flying just now, flights end at 10pm. It says they're flying low; maybe one of 'em threw her hat out of the cockpit?

All things considered, it was unquestionably flying and unidentified!

I mean you wrote Andromeda Galaxy and Cassiopeia, so I'm guessing you'll have a more of an idea of what it could've been than most 🤣

When I was a child, probably about 6, I thought I could fly or teletransport because I'd be stood at the top of the stairs and the next I'd be at the bottom with no memory of physically walking down them. Maybe I was transported down them via a different method?

My dad remembers very well the UFO sighting in Bentilee, Stoke on Trent. There's actually people who are receiving financial benefits that have been injured as a result of encounters with UAP. One of the encounters was at Rendlesham airbase in uk (a US airbase).

I think there will always be people that think everything in the sky is a UAP and there will be those that think they belong to Russia, or they belong to China. However there are enough people who have worked high up in military intelligence reporting to Congress now saying no they are something else and no other country has technology with these capabilities.
