Anyone else feeling annoyed at how backwards the world is going?

Heard on the radio about how so many women in Scandinavian countries are becoming trad wives.
These are not just stay at home mums these are believing in the whole men work and women stay at home . Very traditional gender split.
Then on the radio talking now how many young men are following reform. A backlash against feminism and of course same old thing angry young men are attracted to the far right as they tell them it's everyone else to blame for their problems.
Andrew tate bollox a form of radicalisation which farage has jumped on.
I just find all this depressing.
Even listening today about how them footballers didn't want a pride flag on their kit.
You can't catch being gay. We haven't even had a fully committed gay footballer at the top as there is alot of homophonia amongst fans
I just find this a backward slide do you?

I think that a little common sense is creeping in, and my goodness, not before time.

Common sense. Critical thinking. Saying no thanks to utter bolloxology & ideology .

Shall we talk about critical thinking? How about people that think people like Nigel? Farage has got their back when he doesn't really support working classes. He's a big grifter. He would like a world. Where particularly probably mates of yours on the dole, wouldn't get any money.
You know, these working class people that think he's got their back

Do we underestimate the power of social media? Influencing people young men going to parties like reform across the west, more negative against feminism prob linked with andrew tate

if it was not for mass media then Andrew Tate would of been a very small fish, yet thanks to the media the whole world knows who he is and his philosophy

from what I've heard his philosophy is omg (again due to the media), however id rather read the classics of Machiavelli, Plato, Socrates etc rather than modern drivel of Andrew Tate

Yes, I love social media, it has its great points such as connecting family and friends around the world, instant chat if you're feeling lonely or advice etc but the dark side is that it can platform those you would just have crossed the road from pre internet days, now the internet legitimises them and gives them a voice to suck more people in.

I agree with everything you say. But I also think as well, because people do not have critical thinking skills. They don't seem to understand between reality and fiction.

I take exception to your comment about the footballers. Whilst I disagree with what they did in writing on the bands I don’t disagree with them having the choice of wearing it or not. They should not be forced to do anything with compromises their
religious belief that says being gay is wrong. Whatever anyone else thinks about that they are entitled to their belief and entitled to stand up for their religious beliefs. In the same as that footballer refused to wear a poppy, in the way some refuse to sing the national anthem. We live in a free country and no one should be forced to do something they don’t believe in

the old days they would write books , and its only a select few that read them, now publish an article and the whole world has the potential to know

Well, this is where I question this. I don't think they have the right to say. Gay is wrong because it's not a choice. I think people need to stop thinking. Being gay is a choice, it's not.It simply is you are gay or not.
However, I will concede if they don't want to wear it. That's fine, but let's not imagine it's because of anything else, but some bollox, religion, that actually is homophobic

I spend too much time on YouTube for various reasons. It's a bit scary out there. I see alot of these RedPill speakers, very trad wife , religious, far right podcasters and comments from a mass of angry incel types supporting quite extreme views regards a return to traditional values.

I don't know if these people were always there. I imagine they're infiltrating more young minds than ever now though.

Not sure what you mean between reality and fiction, sorry?
Although I do think critical thinking doesn't seem to be as prevalent as it used to be.
As in, too many people seem to jump in and react to a post, an article, or a comment without seemingly applying some common sense or fact checking first.

I guess what I mean by that is about conspiracy. Theories take, for instance, these people that are going on about that bloody milk. It isn't that bad. When you read it, it's not think to do with bill gates, but of course, these f idiots go off on their little minds

He didn't even need to give an explanation. He didn't want to wear it. End of. It's not part of his job description. pushing political or social messaging is not a part of sport.

His refusal will prompt many youngsters to say No to any actions they are uncomfortable with & do not want to partake in. I'm so glad his teammates stood by him & also refused to wear the coats.

part of that issue is corporations have been previously caught doing omg things, same with secret projects etc, that would be dismissed as conspiracy's but only later proven correct, so when company's lie, cheat, mislead, cause scandal's then that feeds part of the "truths"

I understand what you are saying. And I will concur, but still people need to do fact checking I did, and it's nothing like what these people are going on about
