Black Friday is just over a week away (its official date is the 29th November) and most retailers have already started slashing prices. Today Amazon have launched their Black Friday sale and the deals are coming in thick and fast.

We thought we’d set up this thread so we can share the best savings our expert deal hunters find - and we’d love for you to share your biggest discounts and best buys here too.

I've dropped heavy hints to family about a green heated blanket from Online Home Shop, which looks to me identical to a more expensive one from Lakeland.

Hi @Plum02 - North Face has 30% off orders over £200, but you need to sign up for their XPLR Pass (which is free).

That takes the MNer-recommended Reign On Parka down from £205 to £144, and the Arctic Parka from £395 to £277

Patagonia on the other hand, have taken a stand against Black Friday, as part of their campaign against overconsumption.

Another brand worth a look is Didriksons, their Erika Parka has 25% off, it was £250, now £188

@OttersAreMySpiritAnimal don’t buy our place pans! I bought a full set and they’re the worst pans I’ve ever owned. The non-stick was gone within 6 months. They look pretty but they’re just not functional and fit for the bin in under a year. My tefal pan for a quarter of the price, is still going strong 4 years on!

MN, will you also PLEASE be up front about possible commission/payment your site will receive with each and every recommendation you suggest?
