I have been waiting with anticipation for the Christmas selling to start and we have a cracker here! From the badly coloured in nose on the reindeer, to the 'script' that wonkily says 'DEAR SANTA', I cannot wait to hand over £8 (each) for these beauties...

Those look like a pre teen’s art project

They were clearly made by a child, though. Which makes them adorable!

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 15/11/2024 15:01

Rudolph looks like he's being bummed by a biscuit.

No wonder he's looking so upset.

LittleGreenDuck · 15/11/2024 18:40

Looks like they misspelled "reindeer" and had to shoehorn the "i" in afterwards.

I'd like to think that this is a child's cute art project, but I fear not.

NoEffingWay · 15/11/2024 20:39

The seller, an adult, had made no mention of a child being involved. The eye on the reindeer is a unique finishing touch Grin

Wow

RossGellersCat · 15/11/2024 21:49

Not to be too pedantic, but that shape looks suspiciously moose-like to me. As opposed to the humble re(i)ndeer.

leftfootinletfootout · 17/11/2024 20:06

I love stuff like this

superplumb · 18/11/2024 08:52

It's the £3 worth of sweets chucked in a box charged at a tenner I'm looking forward to marked as an xmas eve box..along with some shut hot chocolate in a bag wrapped with a pipe cleaner.

x2boys · 18/11/2024 09:08

My son brought something like this home from his special school, we were asked to donate a couple of quid toward ,s school funds which was fair ,enough ,and it was better quality! Despite all the children having complex disabilities,
Who on earth would pay 8 quid for that??

tygertygers · 18/11/2024 09:09

Yeah, that's a moose. No wonder it looks upset.

RabbitsRock · 18/11/2024 09:11

I was just going to say about all the chocolate cones, hampers etc. So easy to assemble yourself & a darn sight cheaper too!

CamelTail · 18/11/2024 09:23

Oooh. Nice catch.

Doing my trawl through handmade items did not throw up any treasures as Rudolf the moose. Just crapton of Temu stuff repacked and claim to be handmade... 😤

CamelTail · 18/11/2024 09:23

Why was my post immediate hidden?
Was it cr*pton or t*mu mention?

MermaidEyes · 18/11/2024 09:24

Well I thought I coloured his nose in quite well OP 😳😂

GameOfJones · 18/11/2024 09:28

Haha I love these threads. May I submit these pet memorial decorations being sold locally to me?

What do you call a deer with no eyes?

No idea!

(<cough> Moose <cough>)

OldTinHat · 18/11/2024 09:41

I wonder if the now infamous Quality Street tin complete with 'festive menu' is still on ebay? I know it's not Facebook, but I'm compelled to have a look...

Howling
It really does (I had to go back and check...)

Andrasa · 18/11/2024 09:59

Hahaha, I love this sort of stuff. I bought one of the vinyl cutting machines (cricut) for my own personal hobbies and joined some of the Facebook groups to get tips. The number of people who have zero creative skills but decide they can just buy one and immediately start a business! Wonky text, generic (and usually copyrighted) images, and zero thought about how plates etc might need to be food safe or customers might be upset when the vinyl comes off after one hand wash.

Hulahoopalaver · 18/11/2024 10:08

It's meant to be a reindeer??! I thought it was a map of somewhere (to be fair I saw the picture before I read the message and totally missed the evil eye) and was trying to work out which country has three jutted out pieces of land and the bottom of it.

NoEffingWay · 18/11/2024 10:13

@GameOfJones that is monstrously brilliant/awful!
