I have been waiting with anticipation for the Christmas selling to start and we have a cracker here! From the badly coloured in nose on the reindeer, to the 'script' that wonkily says 'DEAR SANTA', I cannot wait to hand over £8 (each) for these beauties...

It won't let me upload a photo directly.

Please would someone add this one, it's The Grinch!

Awful, isn't it?

Who wants a plate cluttering up their house for an entire year, just so it can be used on one night of the year.

A normal plate will do just nicely, and does its job the rest of the year round too.

BlooBagoo · 19/11/2024 17:09

Nothing says Christmas like a sparkly hot air balloon.

Looks like reindeernis wearing a face mask not a red nose.
I think they were best to leave them blank for maybes your children to do. Might have made a better job

Just imagine if behind each one of these items is someone desperate to make a few quid so that they can buy a gift for their child this Christmas or put their central heating on.

Well its very unlikley that they will even make back their outlay let alone make a profit so it shouldn't be encouraged.
And people on here having a giggle about how awful some of this stuff is will make no difference either way

Not so much the Christmas stuff as it’s already made, but I see a lot of peeps posting something they’ve made and asking for pricing advice and feedback on it before they e.g. order 100 things to customise for a Christmas fair. So many people telling them they’re lovely, can easily charge 5/10/whatever for them, and it’s a wonky customised bauble that are a dime a dozen and probably only £2 online from someone with a bigger operation using bulk bought materials and much higher skill. Better to be honest about them being crap and unsellable before they spend the next £200 buying stuff to badly create they then won’t be able to sell. I suppose better to do that then get sucked into an mlm which is usually the other easy cash alternative advertised to them.

I expect you're going to be buying some of these items then?

Perhaps they shouldn't waste their money on buying tat to create more tat then...
