I literally don’t know whether to laugh or be like oh my God in shock!, I literally can’t stop laughing. This is a guy who said a few years ago that fluoride makes people gay apparently one of the first things he’s gonna do is remove fluoride from water which the dental association says isn’t wise.
He is also a conspiracy nut very much anti-vaccine and really not the person you put in front of public health which can affect everybody as we have just seen in the last pandemic.
I honestly don’t know if Donald Trump is agreeing with him or just trolling people at this stage because on top of that…
The former Republican House speaker Kevin McCarthy is predicting that Donald Trump’s nomination of Matt Gaetz as attorney general so you know head of legal justice etc will be rejected by the Republican Senate next year. This is because what I am hearing is he is under investigation himself for allegedly child abuse, accessing porn in congress and attacking a woman.

I'm not surprised. This is the same guy who denied his late wife's family the right to bury her closer to where they lived so they could visit her grave regularly. He took them to court, alleging that he wanted her in the Kennedy plot. After he won the case, he pulled a switcheroo, removing her from the Kennedy plot and putting her in an unmarked grave instead, just to be an asshole. Even worse, his wife had killed herself because of his cruelty.

People cheering on the destruction of 'big pharma' don't seem to realize the realities of bringing a drug to market.

It takes years with millions of dollars of money tied up in research and testing costs - all of which can be a total loss if the research has gone down the wrong route and doesn't work. Then the manufacturing process has to be developed and factory equipment bought to actually make the stuff in reasonable quantities.

I don't know who the 'big pharma is evil' posters think is going to bring the new cancer treatments and diabetes medications to market because the new Republican government is only interested in making education biblically based and aren't going to be investing millions in 'woke' universities to do the work currently done by Pfizer, Glaxo etc.

Strange he holds all these beliefs but was happy to put god knows what into his body when he was a drug addict!

I didn't say it was. I said az was withdrawn (and this after many countries had already withdrawn it), and my own experience was that I submitted a yellow card as had side effects and never took another covid vaccine. A separate issue is that the mrna vacs they used afterwards are different from normal vaccines which is why people understandably are worried. I do think there are worries over pharma companies and drugs are prescribed much too readily eg antidepressants.

I simply wanted to clarify that's what you meant. :) I do agree re antidepressants, they're given out far too easily when other causes need to be investigated, for example, hypothyroidism, where you can become depressed as one of the symptoms, but the hypothyroidism isn't recognised and the symptoms are treated as separate entities.
