Anyone else still not put the heating on?

Children are teens who run hot and walk around in vests still and moan if I even mention the heating
I get chilly but layer up.

I said I'd wait till November but still not put it on.

The difference between the 'sharing my experience and appreciate we're not all the same' and the 'why aren't you exactly like me?' is fairly obvious and apparent throughout MN.

It cuts both ways. I feel that some posters do come across as morally superior for not feeling the cold.

Yes, I do think there's a small minority like that, but there are also those who have the heating on at 22+ and think anyone who doesn't is destroying their house and their health 🙈

I only put it on last weekend as I had guests staying. I'm sitting here now with it off and back door open. It's set at 18 and doesn't come on until needed anyway. I do have a gas fire though which has been on most evenings since late September.

If our heating was set at 18 and I had the door open the boiler would be firing. It's currently 9 degrees outside.

Mine has just gone on. I am cold today. Also DS is coming back from Uni for the weekend and has been living in halls which are like a sauna, so I'm getting the house warm so he doesn't feel uncomfortable.
