How to not be utterly depressed and scared about Trump winning

Is there any way at all to reframe the likely outcome of the US election? I just feel terrible this morning. Scared and angry. It's wasted energy, though. I can't do anything positive with these feelings and I'm guessing I'm not the only person feeling like this. How are other people finding ways to move out of this feeling so they aren't wasting time and energy on something they have no influence over currently?

To be fair the left are the ones who literally rage at anyone who dares disagree with them.
Just think of all the things the liberal left literally police this nation over.
Absolutely hatred towards anyone who is against abortion, LGBTQ ideology, COVID vaccine, Trump, Brexit and on it goes..... Everyone is allowed their opinion as long as it agrees with the party line.
Funny that the majority of England did vote for Brexit and Americana did vote for trump. People are increasingly vaccine hesitant.. especially the covid one.

Well it seems that there was an attempt by Iranian agents to assassinate Trump before the election.

Ironically one of the reasons they put it on hold was that they were sure he would lose and any assassination attempt would be easier after the election.

1. I said I was against men in women’s spaces/sport.
2. I did not say anything about preventing puberty, I’m very much against it.

If someone needs a tampon, they are not on puberty blockers, are they? I work in education and we provide “sanpro” to all the students. I cannot imagine a situation where a vulnerable person came to us and we would give them lecture instead of help. That’s what Tim Walz did, and yes, it is empathy.

With regards to women’s rights, why should a state decide if a woman should be allowed to have an abortion?????
The only person who has a right to decide to have/not have an abortion is a WOMAN. No government, whether it is a state or a federal one, should have a say in it.
No woman should be forced to travel to another state or country to attend a medical procedure.Not every woman can afford that.

Since you think that having men in women’s sports is a bigger issue than not allowing women control over their own bodies, please tell me how many women have died while competing because men were allowed in female sport?
I assume the number must be bigger than the number of women who have died in USA in the last two years as the result of changes in abortion laws.

I'm going to add because I really cannot be bothered to get into argument with anyone, as I'm aware, no one chooses to be in a cult, noone will openly accept that they are in said cult. It's not all bad! I like what he said about taking steps to reverse the "gender insanity" that has been getting out of hand in recent years. Helping to sue doctors who have irreversibly mutilated children. Investigating Pharma/healthcare cover-ups of the long-term side effects of transitioning, to maintain profits. Cracking down on unlicensed marketing of hormones and blockers... etc etc. Since all the craziness seems to start off in America and spread around the world, it would be nice if sanity did the same.

not happy Trump won for all the obvious reasons but my main despair is with the American people. We may speak (sort of) the same language but we are NOT the same people. Between the religious ferocity which excludes compassion and the racism and misogyny, I don’t have any aspirations to visit.

All climate change efforts seem to be putting taxes on anything that produces carbon.
Leading to higher living costs and ruining the economy, taking farmers lands, forcing everyone to buy EVs, and isnl used to justify all kinds of nonsense cos politicians commited to reducing carbon emissions.
All the while the world stays polluted by things far worse than carbon.
