By any normal standard it would be amazing if Kamala won. Being a woman, poc and only entered the race pretty late on.

I don't like her stance on allowing males compete in female sports & infiltrate female spaces. This is a huge issue in the states & it will hurt her.

I'm watching CNN. They seem a lot more cautious in their declarations (currently Harris 30 Trump 154). I quite like the percentage counted bars though.

@Willowkins how is the mood on CNN? Fox News seem to be quietly confident that Trump may get it.

CNN coverage is generally very good.

I'm watching the live feed but will turn in soon. It's many (many) hours before the picture will become clear.

So far it feels very similar to Trump/Biden where Trump took an early lead that kept rising until we started to see that whittled down by Biden as later votes were counted.

Fascinating watching the numbers change in Georgia and North Carolina as the voting areas come through with the numbers.

@isteppedintoanavalanche the suburban areas seem to be going much more with Harris in those states.

Fox were pretty similar re: Trump last time.

They were the last major news outlet to declare a Biden win.

CNN are generally regarded as pro democrat but their election reporting is pretty good imho and they aren't shy about pointing to counties/states that don't look good for the blue vote (unlike Fox in reverse who push good Red news and skip the bad until they have not choice but to report).

In a very good sign - Trump is now whining about "massive CHEATING in Philadelphia". Which means his numbers aren't good there, which means he probably loses the election. Which means he may well go to jail...

I went back to bed lay awake for 20 mins & came back down to Fox news who are getting very excited about a prospective Trump victory!

Not going to lie I’ve been awake with fairly awful panic attacks all night so have had to step away.
