For me, it’s having my TV mounted to our chimney breast. I know that it’s a faux pas on here 😏

I like plug in air fresheners.

And own fairy light twigs in a vase.

I don't think mils are automatically in the wrong or that having babies means you never again have to consider anyone outside your nuclear family.

I don't think breast feeding makes that much difference to outcomes in developed countries.

I think lots of the clothes recommended on MN are ugly.

I have toilet brushes.
I don't like Keir Starmer.
I go to church.

Nameinspirationneeded · 22/10/2024 23:57

Further sins
I go to church
im an adult but like getting and giving presents to other adults (not. If things but I don’t think birthdays and Christmas are just for the children.)
My work history is rubbish (MH) and I get a lot of support financial and otherwise from my parents.

Manchesteruser · 23/10/2024 00:02

I put mascara on my lower lashes, have 2 toilet brushes, have several grey walls and my greatest sin is vaping.

Moonshine5 · 23/10/2024 00:04

Only got one use out of a chicken, plus I threw the bones away.

Misorchid · 23/10/2024 00:04

I’m a crap car parker.
I take not only the shampoos, conditioners, teas, coffee and sugar from the hotel, but also the loo rolls. (As well as lunch from the breakfast buffet).
The children have never had new pyjamas for Christmas Eve.
I love my lipliner (as well as mascared lower lashes).

Boltonb · 23/10/2024 00:05

I don’t log mild inconveniences with 101.

Manchesteruser · 23/10/2024 00:05

Oh yes and we have a blended family and we get on with his ex. In fact we all spend Christmas together.

Also, I like carpeted bathrooms, I find them cosy. I know they're unhygienic and we don't have one but they remind me of my childhood home.

AspirationalTallskinnylatte · 23/10/2024 00:09

I don't drive.
I'm currently lying in a bed with sheets that haven't been changed for over a month.
I like socialising and thinking it's important to go to big family events even if you don't really feel like it.

MoonWoman69 · 23/10/2024 00:20

Ooh ooh... More...
I smoke roll ups, but have 6 low nicotine vapes on standby.
I have kittens that sleep on the bed and bimble along the work tops (I do wipe with antibacterial spray all the time!)
I have tattoos and piercings.
I haven't worked since 2012 and live off my husbands wage.
I don't shake and cry if I'm offended.
I'm fat (much less so than 10 years ago having lost 8 stones) and I'm tall.
I don't do fashion, I do comfort.
Quinoa does fuck all for me.
I shop at B and M, Aldi and Morrisons.
I use fabric conditioner, plug ins and air fresheners.
I eat more takeaways than I should. Love the odd Macca D's!
I'm messy.
I prefer diet pop to hot drinks, but I do love a Costa.
I am not very PC!

Manchesteruser · 23/10/2024 00:28

And I don't care if there's VAT on private schools, occasionally smoke. My child went to nursery. I have a pink, plastic stag's head, it's very ugly but I have had it for years. I use a tumble dryer sometimes, always answer the door, have never ghosted anyone and would love a friend to drop in unexpectedly.

Pumpkittenspice · 23/10/2024 00:32

I’ve got more…

I am claiming benefits (due to ill health).
I take the mini soaps from hotel rooms, and even the toilet rolls.
I can’t drive, and I really don’t want to.
I adore my MIL.
I’m an adult who enjoys buying other adults Christmas presents.
I love receiving candles as gifts.

I didn't end my marriage after my husband had an affair.

SnowFrogJelly · 23/10/2024 01:18

Thevelvelletes · 22/10/2024 18:59

For some not all the ultimate sin
I'm a man.

😳

SnowFrogJelly · 23/10/2024 01:19

Brainded · 22/10/2024 19:04

I shower/bath every second day!

Me too
🫣

JennyForeigner · 23/10/2024 02:05

Apparently, none.

There isn't a single grey item in my delightful home. I come from a now middle class professional family but with east end roots so I am wicked frugal with a chicken (but vegetarian myself.) I do just the right amount of yoga and have just the right amount of children but also had one multiple birth so it was not a choice.

I would ask where I collect my prize but I already won a MN prize draw recently. I won £200, which I spent on a big Christmas shop 😆.

Catsmere · 23/10/2024 02:17

Osirus · 22/10/2024 18:56

I’ve got a toilet brush. In each bathroom. Sometimes…I even dare to use bleach.

I've got an extremely old toilet brush. Which I still use.

GreenWheat · 23/10/2024 04:20

I get on with most men and don't think they're all sexist pigs out to get me.

I have never had any kind of issue with the neighbours and parcels.

I am unbothered about unisex toilets.

I couldn't care less about any aspect of the private schools VAT discussions.

Mirrrors · 23/10/2024 06:46

I don’t have a problem with trans/fat/poor people

Babababyy · 23/10/2024 07:00

I had my DD in my mid 20s and also juggle a career at the same time. I didn't wait until my mid 30s or older. I am still with dd's dad but not married.

kiraric · 23/10/2024 07:00

I like playing with my kids.

Especially imaginative games

Fizbosshoes · 23/10/2024 07:07

I enjoy celebrating my own - and others adults - birthdays

I married someone who is 5'9" and fits in a normal double bed

...as a result we do not have tall willowy/strapping teens and they sleep in single beds!

SprigatitoYouAndIKnow · 23/10/2024 07:08

I am not married to my kids father and have no intention of changing that. We are still together.

We didn't consider how popular names are when naming our children, just went with ones we liked. One child has a more unusual name, so is probably considered acceptable by mumsnet standards, but the other has a very popular name.

I contributed to some kind of bizarre perception on here that we are applying lables all over the place. My kids are autistic.

FrangipaniBlue · 23/10/2024 07:12

I have a bull breed dog

I love my MIL and FIL..... and SIL is one of my best friends

I am a cyclist...... (although the vitriol on this one seems more reserved for the male variety!)
