It's not the contents of the list, it's the finding of someone else's list; we've long been fascinated and perplexed by the notes left in the bottom of trolleys. This one, mysteriously hidden lost amongst the chicken...

I think it’s a throw back from when people found lists in Waitrose with very specific ingredients (thickly sliced ham from Lower Saxony). Unfortunately this is a bog standard list, from what looks like a non-Waitrose supermarket - so a little dull and ordinary!

And this is why I rarely ever venture onto the Chat boards...

I'm on a Facebook group which is called 'Other People's Shopping Lists" and includes a lot of much more interesting (and certainly intriguing/mysterious) ones than this. I'll see if I can find an example...
