I've always wondered, in that great mind of mine, that when a litter of sausage dogs are born are they all linked together in a bigly long string?

🤣🤣🤣

My kids have chicken pox and I'm so tired. 3 of your posts today have had me wheezing. Please keep it up.

MyTruthMyLife · 12/10/2024 18:38

NC for this, but have been on mumsnet for a very long time

I am actually Lady MyTruthMyLife. I am NC with my family and have been for many years.

halava · 12/10/2024 18:56

I'm as boring as fuck, and have no interesting things to tell you about me.

Well I do, but I'm not going to tell you.

Apart from the F word above I used that answer in one of those mind numbingly cheesy embarrassing team building and bonding sessions at work many moons ago. I was pressed for an answer, so asked them to guess. It turned out to be hilarious in the end. I refused to confirm or deny anything.

Wow that's pretty awesome! Do you still work with them? Have they really helped your business?

Yes they did!! They’ve been hugely helpful. I think a lot of it is edited to make them look a bit meaner than they are.

Shame it wasn't both!

And in the middle of those ears.

Ladyof2024 · 12/10/2024 19:54

I am allergic to all grains. This includes wheat, rice, and corn and plenty of other things too. I have never met anybody else or heard of anybody else who has this same allergy.

MrsPositivity1 · 12/10/2024 20:05

I donated a kidney to a close relative

Getonwitit · 12/10/2024 20:36

Nothing terribly exciting, i have been thrown across a room when a bomb has gone off and have come face to face with an armed terrorist. I had a close personal protection team for a short period of time.
I have lived in all 4 countries of the UK and have visited every county in those countries and have never come across anyone else who has lived/visited all of them.

Livinginaclock · 12/10/2024 20:39

I was adopted at birth, and I met my biological sister earlier this year.

zeddybrek · 12/10/2024 20:44

I'm a published Scientist and have walked the red carpet at a movie premiere in Leicester Square with George Clooney. He was about 6 metres ahead of me.

I only grew three wisdom teeth. There's a blank space where the fourth one should be.

My DH hasn't got any but I'm the same as you with only 3

iwentjasonwaterfalls · 12/10/2024 20:51

I was on TV in 2015 for being a "teen" mum (19, but they counted it)

HotHorseRadish · 12/10/2024 20:52

@Livinginaclock I’m adopted too and met my sister last year!

LindorDoubleChoc · 12/10/2024 21:03

I don't have a middle name. I have a very long Christian name and my parents chose not to give me a middle name. My four siblings all have the traditional two names.

We gave both of our own children two names, the middle name after their grand parents and great grand parents. I always felt slightly odd for having no middle name.

MorrisZapp · 12/10/2024 21:04

I was in Chariots of Fire

AtlasPine · 12/10/2024 21:06

I had a pet weasel as a child. He smelt a bit odd but was very sweet.

I’m the dullest person in the world

A student once said this when I was going around new first years in a seminar where you’re desperately trying to fix a firm idea of who is who in your head in all your classes because you have up to a couple of hundred new faces a year, and perversely, I remembered him and his claim throughout the rest of his degree…

I got 3 offers on Dragons’ Den, accepted 2 dragons… really lovely people!

How long ago and how did your business do?

I'm the same as you. I have a double barrelled first name but no middle name. My children all have middle names. Not having one always makes me feel a bit sad.

Wrennyjenwren · 12/10/2024 21:15

I have a pilot's license, just for fun.

Not that interesting, but it's all I've got.

Hihihello193 · 12/10/2024 21:16

I'm quite a boring person. But I visited the large hadron collider im geneva once! Not for any professional reason, I'm just nosey! It was amazing!
I played Glastonbury once.
I was kissed by the kid from home alone.
Oh and I grew up dirt dirt poor in the 90s, mostly by candlelight! But I'm sure that's pretty common.
This is a lovely thread OP! I never say these things out loud haha

Oh my goodness!! I'm sorry that must have been so scary for you.x

wulves · 12/10/2024 21:19

I am descended from samurai.

moonlight1705 · 12/10/2024 21:19

I lived in the Sudan for a year and escaped a military coup at the end.

I mean, I was only 6 weeks old when my parents took me out there so don't really remember it.
