We are always asked this at work training and I never really know what to say .. am I just a boring person .. what are your interesting facts ..

My grandparents tried to convince my parents i was thick and mental and wouldn't amount to much.

I also then started to believe at the age of 6 that I was thick too,only when GCSEs A levels and degrees took place did everyone around me , including me, got proven otherwise

I have none!

I'm a carrier for sickle cell disease despite being white and no black people in my recent ancestry. I also have Huntingtons disease.

I got 3 offers on Dragons’ Den, accepted 2 dragons… really lovely people!

Is that interesting?

Depending on who my audience are I either tell them I got my grade 4 music exam (distinction) on a recorder. Or that I grew up in borstal.

My father was a borstal master.

Clearly it is to lots of people!

I found it interesting, as did others.

I'm completely ambidextrous.

Most people say they are but what they mean is they have different dominant hands for different tasks. But I can do everything equally well with both hands 😁

As a trans man, people usually seem intrigued when I say that I was raised as a Jehovah's witness. I'd never go back, but they were there at a time in my childhood where me and my Mum needed a community and I'll always be grateful for that.

Also being trans and agreeing with GC people - you can't deny science and nobody else's rights should someone else's rights away.

Oh and if I concentrate, I can smell things that aren't there just using my memory. DW thinks I'm either crazy or making it up 😅
