Thank you thank you thank you thank you OP!!!! I have wanted to see them all my life and was sat inside scrolling MN like a lemon. Not as bright as some of these photos but clearly visible to the naked eye, pink and green. I'm so happy!

I’m going to sleep with my blinds open & my phone by my bed just in case! Not that I know if I can see them through a window.

For anyone who's not having any luck seeing them in real life, if you Google Shetland webcams and go on the Burradale windfarm cam you will probably get a decent show.
