Adam Buxton

What did he do?

FeetupTvon · 06/10/2024 18:37

For me, Huw Edwards- obvious reasons.
Rolf Harris- didn’t see that one coming.
P Diddy, Beyoncé, Oprah, Linekar, Harry and Meghan. (All for obvious reasons)

Maybe we should go back to having racist jokes on the TV because uou hate whatever being woke js but as Cathy Burke sys rather be woke then an arsehole

It isn't as polarised as that.
Disapproving of privileged virtue signalling luvvies doesn’t mean that anyone wants a return to racist jokes and prejudices.
it's a false argument, designed to close down any disagreement.

Add Martina Navratilova to that list

Funny her stance on this as I always thought she had a huge advantage (especially over more skillful players like Evert) being so masculine. She is clearly a natural woman, but on the more masculine side. Arms/wrist with veins popping out of them

Having said that I can see why she wouldn't have wanted male born players in womens sport as she would have lost that advantage.

What about adults or tye many examples of happy people that are trans the only unhappy thing us dealing with the trolls on Internet and those that think their opinion counts anout another person's life

I don’t have a problem with a trans person who has undergone full surgery and is respectful to biological women. I have a big problem with men with their tackle in place putting on women’s clothes and declaring themselves women, invading women’s spaces and getting a kick out of it. Nurses recently have had to deal with a fully equipped man in the changing room because he insists he’s a she. They’re the type of trans ‘women’ who can do one. And I’d find it hard to believe, if you’re a biological woman, that you’re ok with those types. If a transitioned male to female is genuine in their motives they will understand and empathise with women, not fight against them and try to humiliate them. Not all trans ‘women’ are equal, some are CF who have zero empathy for women and they don’t deserve support.

redtrain123 · 06/10/2024 18:45

Michael Jackson - although his music was original and amazing in the 80s, I’m surprised he’s still lauded , considering the alleged grooming of minors (and now there’s even a musical dedicated to him).

Yeah Michael Jackson, so supremely talented but his personal life seemed so unsavoury. A real shame as he was phenomenal.

Sorry for the delay in responding, clearly some people are easily offended. I was at my ds’s football match and enjoy watching him play so hadn’t used my phone (shock 😳)

Thank you everyone for your responses. I just feel there has been so many famous people over the past 10 or so years who have been outed for who they really are.
I was shocked with Bill Crosby, Jimmy Saville, Prince Andrew to name just a few.

I dont like the way he's turned out, all the late nights, women, fines for missing matches since splitting from his childhood sweetheart. He seems like a mess now.

What the fuck! She is a woman, you didn't need to comment on her appearance, plus she doesn't need a reason to not want men in womens sports!

AdviceNeeded2024 · 06/10/2024 14:18

Completely agree.

Hate celebrities who preach their politics or push their own agendas and use their position to do it, there is only one side to be on according to them and then they vilify anyone who doesn’t agree instead of accepting people can have different opinions.

As a PP said, those preaching holier than thou usually have so much money and what they comment on doesn’t affect them like it dies everyone else.

Entertainment is no place for ideology.

Oh, the irony.

Never liked P Diddy. That man has the meanest looking face!

Beyoncé has disappointed me. When she first came on the scene she seemed really sweet and classy but over the years she’s become really vulgar. I did enjoy her Coachella stint a few year’s ago though.

Adele, no need to say more really.

Why is Martina being dissed? I must have missed some posts. I love her, she’s my all favourite player out of everyone.

I think it's because of her views on womens rights, I didn't see the original post about it, just that rude one I quoted.

He wore a t shirt that said some people are trans get over it and some of the usual terfs hate him now. Because he dared and stand up for trans kids as he has one that's how sick this argument has got

He also wished that a Black woman would die because he doesn't agree with her, amongst other things.

You know that that he's said and done more than wear a t-shirt supporting his child, so stop pretending that it's about that t-shirt.

Womanhood is a matter of biology, not appearance, and insinuating otherwise is misogyny. Martina is entitled to compete in women's tennis because she is female, end of.

FeetupTvon · 06/10/2024 19:04

Also, R Kelly, loved him in the early days.
