I've had an obsession with boba milk tea for a few years now and I feel like I'm going to turn into a ball of tapioca if I have one more.

I'm curious to know if anyone else has any weird or major food/drink obsessions Grin

Longley Farm cottage cheese is sent from heaven ❤️

It’s amazing, I can smash a tub in one sitting 😂 has to be full fat though, the low fat version just doesn’t taste the same! The full fat is usually sold out in my local Asda so I stock up when it’s in!

Objectrelations · 05/10/2024 23:20

Carrots

Barney16 · 05/10/2024 23:21

Coffee bags, baked potatoes, poached eggs on toast.

Zebracat · 05/10/2024 23:24

How have I never heard of Trufru strawberries? I will be at Sainsburys waiting for them to open to buy them all . Banana milkshakes. Bread, jam and crumbly cheese. Lidl Greek yoghurt. Lindor strawberry cream balls. Crumpets with butter and lemon curd.I am actually lactose intolerant , I suffer when I eat this stuff.

Forest Feast sour cherries in dark chocolate (their dark chocolate salted almonds are good too)
Vadasz hot and sweet fermented jalapeños (vadasz pickles generally are pretty delicious)
Remedy kombucha

Those cherries sound delish. Looking them up right now.

Mine is burrata. If it’s on the menu it is getting ordered, no question.
Also had an obsessive phase with mash potatoes (the readymade stuff from the supermarket, not homemade) thankfully I’m over it now mostly!

Oh my same here Re iced coffee and I’m currently stressing as I have none for the morning which hasn’t happened in months! Wish my luck 😂

Galaxy Minstrels at the moment!

Crispynoodle · 05/10/2024 23:33

Dark chocolate corn cakes turned upside down spread with Philadelphia and topped with sliced strawberries

gluenotsoup · 05/10/2024 23:35

I can’t get past Jordan’s sugar free granola with nuts and Greek yoghurt and honey.
I’m craving it every day 🤣

Any kind of mochi. Mainly because I find it so hard to find in supermarkets. The closest I get in Tesco is “little moons” which I really love but I wish I had a way of buying it more regularly.

M&S do amazing ones especially the mango!

Blacksheepcat · 05/10/2024 23:46

Humous…I eat it everyday.

GlomOfNit · 05/10/2024 23:53

Little Moons mochi ice cream balls.
Lemon curd from the jar.
roast and salted nuts with freshly chopped rosemary.
really good bakery croissants.

mommatoone · 05/10/2024 23:53

UglyNess · 05/10/2024 20:43

Tuna mayo. Basic but I love it. In a sandwich, on a wrap, on rice, with pasta. Yum.

Same here. BUT I have to have it freezing cold. I make it, and put it in the fridge for a while 👌 . Oh and a dollop of salad cream mixed in. Game changer.

DoorOpening · 05/10/2024 23:54

Baked beans mixed with a spoonful of tahini and a spoonful of lau gan ma

Dyra · 05/10/2024 23:55

Back when I was pregnant with my first (and beyond), I loved Swedish meatballs in Lloyd Grossman's wild mushroom bolognese sauce with linguine. It wasn't a craving, I just could have quite happily eaten that meal every day. Sadly that particular sauce has been discontinued, so that put paid to that. I still miss it.

Nothing special atm. Though I am a sucker for any kind of roasted meat.

Addictedtococacola · 05/10/2024 23:57

Original coca cola
Kinder eggs

LindorDoubleChoc · 05/10/2024 20:50

La Vielle Ferme rose wine.

It's divine ❤️❤️❤️

Bestfootfwd · 06/10/2024 00:00

Taramasalata. I think there’s something in it that I NEED!

ODFOx · 06/10/2024 00:02

I love local things in season; in May/June I buy asparagus at the farm gate and then we eat it 3 days a week. June/July it's strawberries. September a stall of plums comes to a lay-by outside the village and we eat them every day. And on and on. I can't resist. DH has the patience of a saint.

Lilifer · 05/10/2024 20:49

You really really should try and get off that stuff

Dear God, What's wrong with diet coke? Surely it's better than full fat, or too much booze.

Crikeyalmighty · 06/10/2024 00:15

@AdviceNeeded2024 I am addicted to it - I have been known to eat a whole large tub and nothing else for lunch

The artificial sweetener is harmful in excess. My late husband used to guzzle diet lemonade, he was type ll diabetic and said it was OK for him. It wasn't.

Namechangefordaughterevasion · 06/10/2024 00:26

Eggs. If I go a day without eating one I wake up the next morning craving them.

This is a reasonably recent development - probably over the last 5 years. Until I was in my fifties I could go weeks without eating an egg. Now I plan my life around them.
