I've had an obsession with boba milk tea for a few years now and I feel like I'm going to turn into a ball of tapioca if I have one more.

I'm curious to know if anyone else has any weird or major food/drink obsessions Grin

Any kind of mochi. Mainly because I find it so hard to find in supermarkets. The closest I get in Tesco is “little moons” which I really love but I wish I had a way of buying it more regularly.

Ladyof2024 · 05/10/2024 22:58

Chocolate.

StormingNorman · 05/10/2024 22:58

Those little crème caramels in the plastic pots, Bonne Maman blackcurrant jam, Ginger Nuts,

Soul Tadka Dal and Elephant Atta chapattis has been my go to dinner when I’m home alone for a few months now. I even had it for breakfast last weekend because I woke up craving it.

Porridge - yes it's a bit odd but I think I'm actually addicted! Can't get enough of the stuff.

@LindorDoubleChoc I'm currently drinking a glass of La veille ferme rose!

Me too. I love porridge, absolutely obsessed with it. Sometimes eat it twice a day 😁

I always got the fat free chive flavour and was perfectly happy until one day I accidentally picked up the full fat version. Oh my word. How can I ever go back to fat free now?!

I love mochi too. You can often find them in the food bit of TKMaxx and in Asian supermarkets.

GrannyWeatherwaxsHatpin · 05/10/2024 23:07

Lao Gan Ma crispy chilli and XO sauce from my local Chinese supermarket. My god, I could just eat them both out of the jar.

Tea. So much tea!

I have to have tea before I leave work.
Then another cup when I get to work.
Then a cup at 11am to keep me going.
Then one after lunch, like a full stop to the meal.
Then another cup before I head out of the door towards the end of work.
One when I get home to relax.
Another one after dinner - another full stop.
Then one before bed.

Don't judge me. It's tea not cocaine.

Yep, Same. Almost exactly the same tea drinking pattern in fact...

Jubblies. Ice generally, especially since I started having hot flushes, ice pops, ice lollies, frozen smoothies, but jubblies are my first love.

I haven't had one of those since I was little! That's brought back so many memories.

Anjo2011 · 05/10/2024 23:09

Salt and vinegar crisps and honey oat lattes. ( Nero’s) . Not at the same time.

@EineReiseDurchDieZeit

The tropical Fanta is available many places even Lidl had it through summer

Tropical fanta is just LILT. They just rebranded it as LILT sales were down.

PyongyangKipperbang · 05/10/2024 23:10

It's basically eggs poached in homemade tomato sauce with grated cheese sprinkled on top, so delicious 😋

Ooooh that sounds delicious! I have never heard of this.

peepsypops · 05/10/2024 23:11

Freshly baked baguette with salted French butter, punchy red wine and smelly cheese. And super garlicky seafood. I should have been French!

Is the bottle stuff the same as the chilli jam on the Sunset Burger? I've been wanting to buy but doubtful if it's the same.

I really dont know. But honestly it's delicious I can't stop eating it with every meat / sandwich. It's gorgeous. Totally different from sweet chilli sauce. Has a real spicy kick.its fab

TheMamaYo · 05/10/2024 23:16

Trebor Extra strong mints. Really can't stop.
Chicken spring rolls
Graze. I'm not sure why, but constant need to crunch, and these fit the bill.

Beautifulweeds · 05/10/2024 23:17
