What food/drink are you absolutely obsessed with?

I've had an obsession with boba milk tea for a few years now and I feel like I'm going to turn into a ball of tapioca if I have one more.

I'm curious to know if anyone else has any weird or major food/drink obsessions

Bacon and egg rolls. Have to limit myself to one a week but I find making it really ritualistic.

Marmite on toast. Eat it whenever it can be justified.

Same here! Not really the weather for it but hey 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dutch Hagleslag. Basically chocolate sprinkles on bread.

I grew up on it, I lived near the Dutch/German border and trips to a Dutch supermarket were frequent.

Every time I am visiting my mum or we are in Holland/Belgium I stock up on it.

Ice lollies - no idea why but you can get 2 boxes for £4 in Asda and I’m eating several a day.
Boquerones - those little marinated anchovies. I had them at a tapas bar and now I can’t get enough. It’s ticking off my oily fish requirement for the week though.

Pip & Nut sweet & salty peanut butter.
It's like crack.

I'd read about the Aldi one & tried it & found it much sweeter

Freshly brewed coffee and pistachios.

Popcorn at the moment

Cheese oatcakes

Mochi - particularly ice cream mochi.

Also Thai sticky rice.

There's nothing savoury that I won't add hoi sin sauce to. My other half says I've got a problem 😂

Bottomless pit for nachos, but also pina colada

Horseradish sauce. I actually eat it with a spoon straight from the jar.

@PauliesWalnuts I'm the same with parmentiers tinned sardines in chilli oil - have at least 2 tins a week

Vanilla lattes. Terrible for the waistline though so I try and have sugar free vanilla syrup.

Rice pudding, I've been trying to recreate my great grans recipe for my dad while he's not well.

Pretty much there, the Delia recipe with twice the sugar and cinnamon instead of nutmeg.

I eat a lot of noodles with miso. Usually one meal a day is miso noodles at the moment.

Smoked salmon
Spanish red wine (I got a taste for it when I was in Spain recently)
Kimchi
Fruit herbal tea

Robinsons pear and apple squash. I’ve recently given up Diet Coke (it’s been a month!) and I’ve clearly substituted the squash.

Tropical Fanta is what used to be Lilt so has grapefruit in it. Barrs do a pineapple soda but might be just available in Scotland ☺️

Try Barrs pineappleade, you can usually get it cheap in big crates in Farmfoods and probably for a lot cheaper than in those American sweet shops.

I guess a lot of things.

But my forever addiction is sour dough toast.
