I used a new toothbrush this morning. My teeth still feel squeaky clean. Love it.

Clean teeth are always one of life's delights -especially when you wake up hungover with a mouth like the bottom of a hamster's cage.

The first mouthfuls of a lovely hot cup of tea when you come home from a shite day at work and finally get to sit on the comfy sofa....

Yes, that's an absolute delight. I find if I make my tea and get the clothes on the washing line, by the time I come in it's perfectly brewed and just the right temperature. And the washing is on the line!

Getting into a freshly made-up bed.

When it's chilly at night and I get into my bed with the heated sheets on, just love it!

Biscuit tin empty. Get new packet from the cupboard. Open it, the first one gets broken. Take a whole biscuit, oh no what about the broken one. Better eat it. Tidier that way plus it’s my tax on refilling the biscuit tin!

When you're in for the rest of the afternoon/evening on a Sunday and the heating is on.

Going for a run when it's cold outside and raining and then getting into a nice warm shower.

Oh yes!

And it reminds me, the smell of cold off the kids when they come in from playing on a cold day. Delish.

Today's tiny delight was golden syrup cake and custard (bought for tonight's dessert) as a mid afternoon snack just cos it was chilly and we all wanted something warm and comforting

I bought a linen dress on sale from M&S for £14 ( was £50). It was sold out completely but I managed to get one in my size.

When a random friendly dog wanders over for a fuss. My children are dog magnets.

When you wake at night with a dry thirsty mouth and think you have to go downstairs to get a drink. Then you find a bottle of Diet Coke by your bed...

I'm just purchased a new calendar that starts from September that has columns for each person. I feel so organised now I love it!!!

My two dogs curled up against my feet at the bottom of the bed...keeping me warm. (not great in summer but lovely this time of the year).

A lovely long hot shower after having done a good clean of the house of a weekend morning-vaccuming/dusting- the jobs that make you feel a bit grimy. Bliss to wash it all away and know all that’s left to do after is make a cuppa😁
