Me and DP are watching Mr McMahon on Netflix and it reminded me that when I was a child me and my sister were really scared of Hulk Hogan. We didn't have a clue about wrestling he was just on a poster at our cousin's house.

The siamese cats on Lady and the Tramp. That bit always had to fast forwarded when I was a child.

False eyelashes. Thought they were spiders. Four poster beds (still am terrified) and plant roots.

Bobbyelvis4ever · 25/09/2024 20:50

Also terrified of volcanoes. And bagpuss. Thankfully I never saw both together

WetBandits · 25/09/2024 20:50

I vividly remember being terrified every time my grandparents said they were going to collect their pensions. I was about six, obviously had no idea what a pension was, and thought it was something scary Grin I never wanted to ask because I was afraid of the answer!

Yes, I used to hide when I saw her. Can't remember anything else about the program.

IBlameTheDog · 25/09/2024 20:52

M&S Foodhall in Bradford. Hated it. Used to beg my mum to met me stay at the top of the stairs on a conveniently placed chair.

Looking back I think it's because there were no windows. It was in the basement.

Mummies, as in Egyptian Mummies. I was taken to the British Museum at quite a young age and was absolutely petrified of them for years after.
