Schofe is back…

What do we all feel about Phillip Schofield coming back onto our TV screens? He’s posted a status on Instagram to tune in at 9am tomorrow and there are rumours online that he has filmed a show across the pond.

Personally, I think he should come back to do the job he was doing before. Dancing on Ice, This Morning… People compare him to Huw Edwards but they categorically cannot because he hasn’t been convicted of anything….

This is going to create a divide of opinions I know….

Debate!

@cookiebee

You did miss my point, my point was not that he was gay,

I mentioned it in both of my comments to you, I did not miss it at all.

FOJN · 25/09/2024 09:39

I'm just listening to the details of P Daddy's alleged crimes and I think I'm sick of hearing about wealthy, influential men getting away with abusing people.

The fact that Schofield technically didn't break the law isn't a ringing endorsement of his character. He groomed a child and then capitalised on that grooming when the boy was legally old enough. The boy concerned has had his career prospects destroyed but the lying, cheating, predator who caused his problems gets to make a come back - it hardly seems fair.

I think it's time we disabused these entitled narcissists of the notion that they are immune to consequences by giving them some consequences.

It's a 'closet' joke

rainbowstardrops · 25/09/2024 09:54

I like castaway type programmes because I find it interesting how people adapt but if this is just going to be him saying woe is me then no thanks.

Thistooshallpass24 · 25/09/2024 09:55

@AngelinaFibres Oh I see, so not funny and slightly offensive? What year is this?

Hoppinggreen · 25/09/2024 09:56

WallaceinAnderland · 25/09/2024 02:02

I heard it was a castaway type programme. Pity it's only for ten days.

Thats what they've told him

dayswithaY · 25/09/2024 09:58

When I saw the trailer for this I just knew it would be him, how pathetic and self indulgent. He still thinks he’s the victim here.

Why would anyone want to watch this weasel crying on a desert island while trying to light a fire and catch a fish for his dinner? Unless of course they plan to leave him there - now that’s a great idea.

Channel 5 take note!

cheezncrackers · 25/09/2024 09:58

I think it's disgusting that he's back on our TV screens. Are there not enough celebs out there to do reality shows FGS? I don't want to see Philip Schofield ever again, nor Huw Edwards, nor fucking Strictly, which is being rammed down our throats with a poker at the moment. They're all toxic and I don't want to see any of them.

Urggh he's a complete narcissist. I feel sorry for his poor wife and kids, I expect he lied and gas lit his wife to kingdom come as all narcissists do so she had no idea what the truth was. I don't believe for one minute that he was honest with her and she knew she was marrying and having kids with a gay man. That's not how narcissists work.

dayswithaY · 25/09/2024 10:09

Reminds me of that other creep, John Barrowman who popped up on Celebrity SAS after being accused of flashing on the Dr Who set.

Flew to NZ, whined on camera about how the press ruined his life (“I may have got my balls out sometimes”) threw up, then left.

See also - Matt Hancock on I’m a Celeb and SAS.

Why do TV companies indulge these vile men? Get the message - we don’t want to see them ever again! We have enough TV stars, let these ones go and work in a call centre.

Justnonononono · 25/09/2024 10:13

Well you didn't get your debate did you OP, looks like a bit fat no to your suggestion doesn't it

cookiebee · 25/09/2024 10:30

@Freysimo i don’t really understand why your arguing with me, I don’t really think a lavender marriage, as you put it in the old Hollywood way is or was shameful, both would have gone into it knowing they were getting benefits from it, where as lying to someone that your straight when you are not is deceptive and using them for your own gain, as he has stated, he knew and she didn’t.

As for you @templesavage please just leave me alone now as no, you did miss the point of my post, you jumped on it saying my ONLY problem was that he was gay and I ignored anything else, but my point was that he LIED about it to a woman he married and had kids with. You then made it seem like I don’t care about any other aspects of his behaviour, but I do, I went on to say that he treated that lad appallingly as far as I can see, but he actually hadn’t done anything illegal, perhaps immoral definitely. He was in the position of power AND married, he should not have started that relationship with that lad in his position. But you could have left my message alone as just one aspect of a complete character, but you didn’t, you decided to miss my point entirely, including in follow up posts to me and you read between the lines to make your point, get away from me!

Why does he need to come back? Can't he just live a quiet life?

Can't stand him and I really really hope the ratings see him off for good.

TheGreatIndoors · 25/09/2024 12:56

He's a creep so is just sorry he was caught.
Arrogant weasel.

Disturbia81 · 25/09/2024 12:57

Nah any man who goes for younger people is grim.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 25/09/2024 12:59

Ooh look someone posts a goady post and disappears
what a surprise

TheGreatIndoors · 25/09/2024 13:00

Annoys me that he says the behaviour was unwise but not illegal. As if that means it wasn't immoral either.

He's a predator.

lovepotionnumbernine · 25/09/2024 13:04

No. I didn't like him before his 'scandal'. I still don't.

Changeforthis79 · 25/09/2024 13:06

He was an irritating twat before he was allegedly a grooming pervert...keep him cancelled!

TheGreatIndoors · 25/09/2024 13:21

The most dangerous type of sex offenders are the ones who minimise their offending. Like Philip.

Indeed his refusal to TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER and keep trying to worm his way back onto tv is....troubling.

He's entitled and just thinks he should get whatever he wants. What the other person wants is irrelevant to him.
