This is a really interesting question. I'm not sure what I'd choose. 50 50? But then you're just average in both. Is that best? I don't know!

And neither category will guarantee you happiness...

80% looks, 20% brains would make you the happiest I think.

Or maybe 100% brains because if you're very successful it doesn't matter what you look like. But this may only be true for men.

i am highly intelligent and not very attractive already. I am never jealous of beauty, but I am quite jealous of truly great thinkers.

90 looks 10 brain. Honestly, as sad as that sounds, attractive people statistically do better in life. And you get treated so much better being good looking. Sad but true... imo

But since I am regularly mistaken for Margot Robbie and have the brains of Marie Curie, I’m indifferent.

I’m probably 90% brains, I’m clever but quite ugly. It doesn’t bother me being unattractive, especially as I’m now middle aged and invisible anyway. I wouldn’t sacrifice my brains to be better looking for sure 😂

I think in reality, it's having a fair chunk of both that really counts.

Rachel Riley isn't a very good example as she's both brainy and extremely attractive.

I'd go 60% brains, 40% looks, I'd cope better with being less good looking than I would being a bit dense.

Also Margot Robbie mentioned above is a combination of both, she's very successful as a producer as well as an actress and you don't achieve that on looks alone.

I was just using them as examples for that particular attribute. Einstein was also quite dishy. Newton- maybe less so, but still had a twinkle in his eye.

I’m clever but not good-looking. It has worked out ok for me but if I were reincarnated I would love to experience life being effortlessly beautiful. But I wouldn't want to be really dim, so that people took advantage of me. Maybe 75% beauty / 25% brains?

I would say 75% brains as I am book smart and 25% looks.

If I lost 3 stone and rescued my bone structure and figure from extra fat I would struggle to answer. That said, I am often told by strangers (women) that I am pretty/beautiful (not so humble brag), but I personally don’t currently see it.

If you are stunningly attractive AND incredibly attractive what are you? 50:50. But if you are very stupid and very ugly you are also 50:50. It's not an either or situation, you need another axis.

I think if you are stunningly attractive and incredibly attractive you are probably well over 100% attractive. Nice if you can get it.

Not in the spirit of it all but surely if you were brainy (enough) you'd know that both scores are independent.

E.g. very brainy (100%) and average looking (50%)

When I was young probably 50/50, as an overweight old gimmer who has learned a lot along the way I would say 65/35 now for brains/looks.
