Whose clever idea was it to put stickers on greetings cards?! Not the easy pull off ones but the ones that leave some of the sticker behind. I know very first world problems.

I’m sure it’s probably been mentioned, but fucking fridges that beep at you to remind you you’ve left the door open.

What's more - they only beep when the door is wide open. Never when it's just left a fraction open.

People who go to the effort of picking dog poo up, putting it in a bag, tying it very neatly and then HANGING IT ON A FUCKING TREE. What is the point??????

Absolutely, SO pointless! Particularly when, in Winter, you can pop it in your pocket to keep one of your hands warm ..... 😜😂

We have decided there is a category we now call semi-animate objects. The ones that move when you are not looking. This includes hangers, keys, phone, coils of rope, headphone cables (both are very good at tying knots) and don't get me started on silicon mastic - how can you be mastic-ing in the bathroom upstairs and find a blob on the inside of a kitchen cupboard downstairs🤔.

Aeons ago, we were living abroad and utterly skint - local veg were about the only cheap foods apart from bread, but the day I mistakenly bought coriander instead of flat leaf parsley - and tasted it! - is still etched on my brain!

I don’t dislike it any more, but am still very careful when picking up a bunch of flat-leaf in the supermarket.

The people in power who hide well known predators, so that we only hear of their abhorrent crimes after they have lived a long life and died. Thinking Savile and Fayed, for example. There will be others.

When someone asked Savile what he wanted when he was dead he said a phone so he could hear what people said about him. In that moment I thought he's done something really bad.

I remember reading a few years ago that the way certain journalists remembered there was only one L in his name (it was often misspelled as Saville) was that, if half the rumours about him were true, L was where he would be going.

So 'vile' then? Appropriate.
