In this day and age you'd think they would've invented contraception that's 100% effective or at the least far more options for men. Although considering his family should've been complete by 55 he defo should've just had a vasectomy.

It's funny how you don't really see many celebrity women having to put out statements admitting to cheating and getting knocked up by men other than their husbands!

No man should trust a woman's contraception, full-stop. Even if she's honest about using it, she's only one bout of D&V away from it failing.

Until recently, a married woman pregnant by an affair partner could simply claim that the baby was her husband's. It's only recently that DNA testing that has changed that. Female celebrities also have the money to fly to where abortion is legal if they don't want the baby.

I would imagine that whoever DG got pregnant, would have access to sufficient funds to get a termination if she wanted one. Can't see many men in his position actively wanting her to go ahead with the pregnancy.

Having a kid turns your life upside down no matter how much money you have so, if she sabotaged her own contraception, it's because she wanted to become a mother. Not to prove an affair, nor to get money.

Well yes, but I'd hazard a guess that most married men would prefer to pay for an abortion, avoiding the need to out statements on SM, admitting to having cheated on their wives and fathering a baby outside of their marriage.

While babies do disrupt one's life, it's way easier to raise one when you can guarantee a large amount of child support.

Although maybe the mum will turn out to be someone who doesn't want his money and has plenty of her own - rich people tend to know other rich people, after all.
