Are you happy with the changes so far, and still backing Starmer?

@maddy70 oh stop it with the facts already. People who don't like democracy also tend not like facts.

I voted Labour, knowing that I would be paying more tax and higher school fees.
I didn’t vote expecting all my personal opinions on what they should do to be followed. I voted as I believe they are the best party to lead the country, and still
do.
I wish they had a more dynamic leader. I wish they hadn’t inherited such a dreadful shitshow. I certainly don’t wish I’d voted for any other party.
It’s not a reality show.

There you go. It'll come as a huge surprise to all the disgruntled (relatively) better off people that not everyone like them is a founder member of the 'I'm all right Jack' brigade.

Yes very happy to see the back of the Tories thanks 👏👏👏.

So are you happy with anything Labour has done?
Or are you just happy they are not Tories?
That's a pretty low bar

We all knew they'd have to make some radical decisions to try to slightly unfuck our public finances after Brexit and austerity. I'm not sure what people expected. We're on an Argentina trajectory at present and people haven't fully come to terms with the fact that as a nation we're a lot poorer than we used to be. At least Labour are trying to fix things.

Yes probably signed by all the people that voted for reform who are sulking. Its not a reason to have another election although it’s actually helpful to the Labour Party to consider what they might be able to do to turn the temperature down in those voters.

"Probably"? Even if that were true, they are objectively dishonest. Too much videographic proof and social media posts showing backtracking, outright lies and worse. WASPI women is the latest part of this s* show.

I don't care what political side you're on, to denigrate others by saying they're "sulking" is disingenuous given current outcomes.

How's that working out for you?
Do you still have friends after voting for Labour?

dizzydizzydizzy · 28/10/2025 09:43

I did but I am very disappointed so far. I would say they are less bad than the Tories, which is a very low bar. I'm hoping PPs saying it is too soon to know are right.

I'm massively crossing my fingers that Farage and his bunch of racist idiots never get in.
