Browsing the channels this eve and noted that Indiana Jones - Raiders of the Lost Ark is on and made me think of one of my favourite quotes. It’s actually from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and it’s when he looks at Willie through the hole in the enclosing cave with such a look of fear / urgency / what-the-hell-are-you-doing-woman and says “we…are going…to die!”

tickles me every time!

“let’s see Paul Allen’s Card”

the stress on his face pretending to be indifferent in legendary

Soppy but ‘you make me want to be a better a man’ and ‘you had me at hello’.

There will definitely be funny ones but they aren’t coming to mind right now!

A bit long but…..
”the truth? I tell the truth too. Nicole’s having an affair with Chuck. Muriel saw them fucking in the laundry on your wedding day. Stick your drink up your arse Tania, I would rather swallow razor blades than drink with you. Oh. And by the way. I’m not alone. I’m with Muriel”

Love this!

I have two:

“I know everything there is to know about you, and my memory is long. My memory is very, very long.” From Beaches, with Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey. That scene makes me cry every time.

“There is nowhere you could go that I won’t be with you.” From Moana, the scene with her Grandma. My mother had died 6 months previously and I was a sobbing mess in the cinema. This scene hits like a tonne of bricks every time.

"Nobody puts Baby in a corner" (From "Dirty Dancing",1987).

NOT my favourite film quote, but memorable because it is famous and weird - I, and many others, think that the in the corner, or sitting with your back against the wall, is a good place to sit! You have great overview! But Johnny does not agree.

I hate this film but it’s almost worth watching for the Emma Thompson scenes
