David Tennant by a long way.

I'm old enough to hazily remember Jon Pertwee and did quite like him. Also Christopher Ecclestone who helped revive it after the long hiatus.

Tennant took it to a whole other level. Capaldi built on it and Matt Smith added a youthful fun element into the show. The Doctor/Rose relationship was fantastic but Martha was almost his equal.

Never watched the really old ones, but of the modern era doctors, Peter Capaldi.

Peter Capaldi. It used to be David Tennant, but I find him really hard to watch now I know he’s such a knob IRL. Peter Capaldi just understood the whole character so well and after watching his run a few times it’s now my favourite.

The only doctor I’ve ever disliked is Jodie Whittaker and I’m so angry that they made the female doctor so bloody wet.
