Lentil curry with rice and vegetables.
Daughter is cooking.

invisiblecat · 13/08/2024 15:42

Chicken legs left over from the roast on Sunday. I might do them in some sort of spicy sauce if I can be bothered to get around to it.

All day breakfast, its one of the only meals everyone enjoys .

Intothevalley · 13/08/2024 16:05

We're going out for tapas - but if we weren't it'd be some sort of protein, vegetables, brown rice kinda deal - with Asian flavours (soy, ginger, miso, etc.)

Onehotday · 13/08/2024 16:06

Nandos takeaway.

Peri peri chicken, spicy rice and garlic bread. I'll cook the chicken and bread outside in the BBQ.

StellaCruella · 13/08/2024 16:06

Current front runner is sloppy joes with sweet potato wedges. Other contenders are chicken schnitzel with salad and coleslaw or enchiladas.

SquigglePigs · 13/08/2024 16:06

Butter chicken curry, rice and onion bhajis.

5 yr old DD said it's too hot for food and she wants a "snack plate" (veg sticks, fruit, cheese and crackers basically) so taking advantage and making me and DH something she doesn't like, although she has decided she wants to taste it!

DCINightingale · 13/08/2024 16:08

Pizza chips and beans - we have been without an oven for 2 months until today and I have been desperate for pizza for so long!!

QforCucumber · 13/08/2024 16:08

Sausages, New potatoes, broccoli and cauli cheese all in a giant Yorkshire pudding.

ghostbusters · 13/08/2024 16:09

Chicken, chorizo, tomatoey stew. A made up recipe, it's different every time. Might have cubed, roasted potatoes on the side.

SuperBored · 13/08/2024 16:12

I'm on my own today so am treating myself to a (cheap) bit of steak, baked potato, fresh corn on the cob, peppers and some salad.

HarrietSchulenberg · 13/08/2024 16:17

Broccoli quiche (Asda one, CBA making my own today), minted buttery new potatoes, honeyed carrots and either peas or green beans depending on what I've actually got in.
Fresh raspberries and coconut yoghurt for pudding.

longdistanceclaraclara · 13/08/2024 16:21

Chicken chilli and tortilla chips

YorkieTheRabbit · 13/08/2024 16:37

I’ve made chicken pathia, we’ll have it with garlic naan and onion bhajis.

ZittiEBuoni · 13/08/2024 16:38

Veggie chilli with rice and avocado.

AtleastitsnotMonday · 13/08/2024 16:40

Sea bass with garlicky roasted sweet potato and veg

TheFairyCaravan · 13/08/2024 16:41

I boiled a ham joint yesterday and made some rainbow cous cous salad out of the Pinch of Nom book, so we’re having that again. Although I’m lying on the bed feeling quite sick atm so it might just be DH eating.

Favouritefruits · 13/08/2024 16:42
