Definite yes from me but it needs tidying up and squaring off along his jaw line. I love a bit of stubble, really don't like DH being clean shaven.

George V was in the Navy. They're allowed a full set. Army and Royal Air Force, moustache only. I believe William served in the last two, rather than the Navy. Hence the entitlement. Funny thing, really! Must be some reason back in day.

All the three forces allow full beards now. I'm not sure George V having been in the navy was the only reason he had a beard, beards had been de rigeur for decades, even very long ones. Many of the royal males have rather a weak chin and a beard really helps to improve the look of that's the case.

I didn't know that about the UK forces. You're right in the early 20th Century @ISeriouslyDoubtIt many men had beards.
I hate them, they look so dirty. They never improve a man's appearance, imo.
However, I do think William is looking more handsome now.
