Not keen on the stubble but if it progressed to a full beard it would be a yay from me. Sadly it won’t because what you are looking at my friends is a shaving holiday.

Is this a sign that the stuffy royal protocol is being relaxed, or will he have to shave for official engagements?

Oh yes, indeed! He does look a bit like Philip. He's very lean and tanned... looking good!

It balances his face by elongating the jaw vertically, to offset how wide his jaw is. His head had started to resemble a triangle but the beard helps with that in my opinion & makes his head look the correct way up. I like it a lot!

So much better as it balances out his baldness.

He’s a nice-looking bloke even though I’m not keen on beards (and my DH refuses to shave his off 😡).

I love facial hair so yes from me. He does look like one of the BeeGees though.
