Not wearing my nice things: help me get out of this mindset!

I go mad on Vinted but never wear anything nice - I sort of hoard it "for best" and spend my days wearing the same rubbish old stuff. I don't know why I do this! Maybe it's because I'm worried about nice things getting ruined, or worried I'll miss them and not be able to replace them if they get worn. I don't know why it is but I want to stop! Help!

I was literally just think this this morning OP when I got dressed. I’m always at parks, at home, playgroups etc with my young children so often think oh I won’t wear that nice t shirt/linen trouser/pretty top in case it gets dirty etc but mine is mainly that I’ll want to wear it another time and I haven’t washed it or something yet so can’t 😆

I used to admire the people who looked lovely all the time, then realised they’re nothing special. Just people like you and me. Bethat person wearing the nice dress, blouse or outfit.

We are here for a good time not a long time. Wear your nice things.
When my mum died and I sorted out her house it made me cry, the sight of her "for best" dresses shoes and bags all hanging pristine in the wardrobe.
Enjoy your lovely stuff, you are worth it. 💐
